Idk why but i think that ‘damaged goods’ is referring to himself because like the cameraman said that he is ‘perfect’ and his value will go down if his image (not the mc) is damaged. And notice how it zoomed on his finger that was cut? Meaning his finger aint perfect and considered as ‘damaged’. His finger, not anyone else. I mean it refer to himself, not the mc. And i kinda think that his feelings towards mc is sincere.
