I love this story a lot and came to read it again, I have a thing for obsessive and controlling seme and this one was funny as well. Just
I left it a long time ago don't know why came back again to ruin my mental health. So here what I found, It is not like any other badly treated female leads's revenge story with punchlines and events to shock you enough to gasp and it also does not make only a single person out to be a bad guy , every character is with flaws here and this story proves in a way that with time travel people's mindset is changed not only the one who suffered was female lead but the other girl and male lead had their own misfortunes and childhood traumss as as well.
Male lead did wrong to treat the female lead the way he did and later we came to know why he did all that which obviously does not justify his innocene but maybe it was the demand of the story to be that way because their was no fluttering romance like many other. It was good when both of them took blood oath for each other in the end.
I am liking this strong FL, she knows how to act in in difficult situation without dragging the action and also the emperor and empress's relationship is not all about butterflies in stomach type they are rulars of a empire and coldness and craziness suits them. I genuinely like their small actions of showing that they slowly started observing the each other in affectionate way and not blushing at every chance they get to see each other.
When most of the stories make FL strong they automatically makes ML servantile towards FL this one is not following that path.
