Honestly i think they shouldnt, Sunbin doesnt love Hyeonwoo. He made his boundaries clear multiple times, Hyeonwoo is a faded first love. He only wanted Sunbin when he was taken away.

I kinda wanna see how they can get together if they talk their feelings out. I feel like their story never got a satisfying closure because Subin never really knew how deep Hyeonwoo’s feelings are for him. Although it’s mostly HW’s fault. But at the same time I still can’t let go of Jun for Subin.

I still would love jun, he is the one who helped sunbin back in season 1. The guy who genuinely love him. Plus I like the refreshing theme of mc ending up with the 2nd ML which made this manhwa had a unique taste in me back in the day

Because Jinshi is emperor and Aado son. Aado and Empress Dowager do the swapping. Empress Dowager seems to love Jinshi more than her second son, who was the results of her raping pervious emperor. It open secret but Jinshi didn't know. Btw current emper and Maomao actually kinda guess it since a lot hint given to her. Every worker that know got dismiss include Luomen. Jinshi thought he is the emperor's brother and don't want to be messy political war. That's why he become an eunch. Emperor kinda hint to want Jinshi to be his successor. That's why emperor kinda not that worry about finding heir and more just enjoying his harem. Emperor kinda like to tease Jinshi in his way but strict with him. Aado regret that she can't openly loving Jinshi as her son.

During the earlier arcs connected to the poisoning incident during the garden party, Aaduo's supposed son (the real child of the empress dowager) died during infancy because of honey supplied by the consort's family. The babies have been swapped by then.

Die from honey that come from poisonous flowers. They already swap at that time and Aado actually already start to care of Empress Dowager's son as her own son. Even if the swapping didn't happen, Jinshi will still be from royal line up. He just change from the current emperor's son to the current emperor's younger brother. Either way, still will be next in line. Jinshi just doesn't want the title of emperor, while the emperor allow whatever that Jinshi want to do. Jinshi choose to take care of consorts as fake eunuch so emperor can get successor soon.

Tbh, Jinshi kinda sad when Aado left the harem. Implying that he kinda attached to Aado without knowing that attachment is mom and son instinct. He hug Maomao that night after the ceremony of Aado retirement.
