This is the last chapter in Korean. I can't deny that it left me so tender feelings even if I didn't understand what there were saying.

Girls, I would like to ask you something: Do you think we would ever discover what happened to Seju's mother? I mean, many times I had the idea that Seju's father wasn't who she believed he was, but her supposed brother, Saehyun. I would love to know your opinions. ^^
I would like to know what's the age gap between Seju and her, what you called "supposed brother", cause honestly I think that he could actually be her father, not the person she believed to be her father (if that sentence structure makes sense?). Cause there was a chapter, I forgot which one tho, when we see Seju's mother and how she's being approached by a guy and they clearly had sex later on. I have a theory that this guy was actually Seju's "supposed brother", especially that this whole situation looked more like a one night stand to me - her mother wasn't with him in the morning, she left him a note and I'm pretty sure she also rated him. Also, there were some situations in WDTFS when we could see how overly protective this "supposed brother" was of Seju, he also mentioned that he was the one who chose a name for her, etc which are things that mostly would be done by a father, rather than a brother.
But like I said, it depends on the age gap between these two, cause after all this guy who approached Seju's mother could be a person who Seju believed to be her father. In this case scenario, the scene I described before that looked more like a one night stand could simply show that maybe Seju's parents weren't exactly a couple, or in love mutually, or that Seju's mother used to play with Seju's father's feelings a lot, which is something she was being accused of a lot in manga by other members of a family (despite the fact that she's not alive anymore, but Seju was the one who had to listen to those comments every time someone said that she behaves a lot like her mother).
I called Saehyun supposed brother because I always suspected him to be Seju's biological father. Maybe in these new chapters we'll discover that fact. If I remember well, he dreamed of her and cultivated for her some kind of strong sentiment. I remember that scene when she was watching out of the window and turned around just in the moment he wakes up. It looked like dream to me.
Personally, I'm more inclined to believe Saehyun was just a brother. He doesn't look anywhere old enough to be the father of a 34 years old daughter. Plus at one of the family gatherings, it was mentioned a DNA test has proven Seju to be the blood of her father. And if I recalled right, somebody interviewed the author a long time ago. Apparently, Saehyun had stayed at the villa when he was young and spent time with Ahn Chahee. Regardless, it's obviously Saehyun has some feelings for Ahn Chahee, the way he called her name in his dream and twitches when Seju or his brothers badmouth her.
It'll be nice to learn more about Seju's mother. Her apparent suicide is something of a mysterious, not to mention Saehyun suggesting the possibility of a homicide. Some fans from Dynasty Scan has theorized the family could have planned to murder her since she may get a chunk of inheritance if the Chairman decided to marry her one day and passed away. But I suspect the author may not touch the subject again and leave it aside. It's too much of a dark and complex history, something Seju is probably better off not knowing.
It might be dark but I would be so interested in knowing if someone committed murder against Seju's mother. At least for the readers, I mean. If Saehyun were Seju's real father it isn't necessary that he were this much older, he could have fallen in love with Ahn Chahee when he was a young adult, almost a teen.
True, he would have to be like at least like 17-18 years older than Seju (well, something around that), but I don't know if we've been told what's the age gap between them. There is also another possibility that he was just in love with Seju's mother but didn't get close to her in any way and is just very protective over Seju cause she looks a lot like her mother... tho it sounds really creepy, so I personally don't like it
I would actually love for One to explore Seju's family situation and this whole mistery around her mother - who she was as a person, why Seju hates her in a first place, despite the fact that she's never met her, why and how she died/was murdered etc. Sure, it would be dark and if there was a chance that the addition of this sub-plot would mess up Seju's mental health even more then it's not worth it, but I would really like for One to have some kind of a major plot apart from the development of Seju-Dowon relationship. But I guess it also depends how long One is going to be, cause in order to pack everything and develop it nicely it'd have to have around 30 chapters which is way more than Paradise had
Yeah, I would like so much to have some of those mysteries solved. I think Seju hated her mother because her life itself had been marked by the fact she was born as the child of a "mistress", an illegitimate relationship that marked her life and her position in the family.
Yeah, the path would be really long, I don't know if Team Gaji will dedicate these so many chapters to One but I hope they will.
Well, assuming Ahn Chahee was actually a loving caring woman who would never have abandoned her child and Seju found out her family played a part to murder her, then the story could take a very dark turn. I doubt Seju would sit by and do absolutely nothing if this was the truth all along. She could be tempted to seek vengeance, doing whatever it takes to crush her brothers. This could set up to be an epic drama.
But if that wasn't the case at all and Ahn Chahee really did hang herself because she couldn't stand the humiliation she suffered, then I'm not sure how this is going to help change Seju's perception about her own mother, whom she despised for abandoning her. I mean, it's all in the past. Doesn't seem like there'll be much point for Seju to reopen an old wound.
Of course, I could be wrong. There might be more positive than negative for Seju to learn more about her mother in the end. We'll just have to wait and see in the next chapter or so.
Yeah, it might have something really positive in Seju knowing more about her mother, even at the cost of some pain if this helps her to finally understand Ahn and the reasons for what she did. I still think there is something unclear about her "suicide". Maybe it isn't something that we can call a murder in legal terms, but something more like a lot of psychological pressure and inflicted sufference that made her want to end her own life.
"Wait! Is he jealous?" XD
And that old pair interrupted them at the best moment.
On the other hand... both guys are so hot, difficult choice.
