You need to read until chapter 21 (end of season 1). Well... I do think that ML and other vassals is quite protective of MC. ML maybe love MC but he doesn't fully trust MC yet because of MC 'left' their kingdom as mentioned in the past episode... Gotta read the novel first.

I'm glad that they found each other at the end. (づ￣ ³￣)づ The story is really beautiful I love the characters and how well they are written. This is one of the few Yaoi/BL manhwa thay has really a good plot and story. It doesn't revolve around sex and stuffs but shows more than that. It shows how far will their love for each other go and the things they will do for each other.
