Considering you can lose your memory at any round this game is super scary. Forget the killer, the idea you can be manipulated and never realize it makes me shiver! lol
If it was me I don’t know if I could’ve run for it. I feel like I wouldn’t over thought it and believed it was a trap, then convinced myself to wait till top trusts me and make a run for it. Though whether I’d make a run for it at that point or not is questionable.

Really liked the original, especially the end, so kind of nervous about this new version. Opening with him giving a rando a bj sure was a choice. Viper smexing was also a choice. Too soon to make a judgement but c1 didn’t make me less nervous lol.
My thoughts exactly. I think they’re just trying to follow trends in other Yaoi manhua, i don’t like how he gives some guy a bj and how viper is fucking some guy before killing him and straying from the original, like
He can kill the guy without needing to give him a bj, viper can kill and threaten that guy without needing to fuck him. I don’t like this revision
In the OG. Mc literally only slept with viper, a guy, because his life was on the line and viper only slept with him because he said he would do anything and he knew from the start who he was, like what are they doing now…

My guess is he wasn't the first kill like Bada had thought he was. Bada at this point in the story the author has made clear is an unreliable narrator since he is too confident in what he thinks he knows. So he gets very tunnel-visioned and only notices things he's purposely looking for. So my guess is the cousin always faked the same beginning script for Bada because he knows Bada thinks he's the only "playable" character. And he picked a phone call to have an easy way to keep Bada unaware but to also let him get away from everybody else so he could truly play and with Bada being shown as the unreliable narrator he is, I bet he had probably just always thought that the cousin had been the first kill since he never came back (and he thought the cousin was an NPC with the same character program every game meant to serve a purpose aka the first kill) so he never actually confirmed it in any game since he felt confident in it. We as the readers just thought he was always the first kill because we were following what Bada had been saying, but the author is showing us in these newest chapters that we can't trust something just because Bada had been confident in his own thoughts.
and maybe the time we see him die in chapter 3 is him dying on purpose since now Doha is acting strange even for him so he is taking an extra step to try keeping the state of him as the first kill the same (not knowing hes about to have everything erased)
