I really like this manga so just as a precaution, if anyone knows spoilers could you just tell me one thing:
PLEASE, PLEASE, tell me this isn't one of those manga where the guy raises the girl as his daughter only to marry her afterwards. It would crush me if this happened.

I remember watching that "if it's for my daughter ill defeat the demon king" or smthg anime, right? 100% wholesome in the first couple of episodes (I didn't finish it), loved it. But then I read somewhere that they get fucking married. What the fuck
And there are even people defending that saying the two were never really like a father and a daughter- YO
Messed up

I began to read that story until I learned they got married!!! Look like the girl was always in love with him.and she is the one confessing her love to him, also she was in her teens and still a minor!!!
I hope this story is not another Usagi Drop, I hate these stories that a man adopt a girl and marry her later!!!
I love their father/daughter relationship and I hope this relationship never change!!!

I loved that bi character that had a crush on the protagonist. Just hope they don't make him a crude stereotype.

Here his comerade background comment ;)
The whole thing about Salome. Is this the insensitive way to present her as a trans-woman or is she also a reincarnated person. It was kinda confusing for me.
I believe she's trans
i think that its actually a man cross dressing as a woman like they did mention that salome was a 40 yr old man inside......
I thought that it was just about her personality. I'm often told that I text like a dad trying to be hip but I'm an 18 year old girl. I never really saw it in a negative way though but I suppose it depends on the person and how they interpret it
Well, that's kinda my point. It was just that weird phrase from nowhere and since the manga doesn't go into details, it's hard to know what the author means. Three people here already interpreted in different ways: transgender, crossdresser, and old soul. My point is that if it meant that the character was trans, it was a very insensitive way of saying it. Like yeah, you look and act like a woman, but deep down you are still a man.
to be fair, manga's are not exactly known for their delicacy on these particular subjects. so i might be any of the above. Though it's a really good question, I don't think they really cared
No, the MC meant it figuratively. Salome is a gorgeousn woman who is a 40 year old man on the inside (personality). I gues like middle-age worker that cares about money.
