Horrific tropes in manga, please explain (TW: SA!!)

Okay so I started reading manga quite young. (Yes even the mature ones, don't come at me pls, we all know that we did it on wattpad n stuff)

But I've slowly started to realize just how PROBLEMATIC so many mangas are! I'm tired of seeing the uke saying "stop" when there is no safe word in question, and the seme just continuing! I've also noticed how many mangas randomly have literal SEXUAL ASSAULT and portray it as "sexy and romantic"

why is this so normal these days? (I understand BDSM is a thing but in 99% of these mangas it's not portrayed as BDSM between two consenting people)

In short, I know this is a big problem and won't be easy/possible to fix. But if anyone has good manga recommendations with healthy relationships, please give me some below.

    Ikr. Many old bl mangas are completely psychotic and has unnecessary derogative plot devices. It's really rare to find a very good manga. Even straight ones too. But if they good, damn they're good.

    I m also reading yaoi since I m so young I mean u can say most of mangas had very messed up plot but know what u kinda enjoyed them cuz tht was new for me it's not like all were like this compare to today's manhwas/manga I have read better stories when I was young , in my opinion not alll manga are like this I have read good stories .

    There are a lot of masterpieces that is ignored on this site because it has 'no color'

    Yeah! But tbh I find this problem in the newer ones too, I might get ppl on my back for this but, "Your wish is my command" Is pretty much disgusting, and it came out last year.

    Exactly you told the facts just cuz thts black and white doesn't mean those aren't good people says mangas has very small pictures it's hard to read and complain and all I mean literally they r ready to read sex scenes straight up 6+ CHAPTERS in color one , but they couldn't read a damn manga , just cuz it's blakc and white i m old reader it's not like today's stories aren't good some are good but thing is some masterpiece used to be in featured before and I have read many good the thing is today's newbies are starting their first stories with killin stalkin and bj Alex types , rather than some good stories that I have made before.

    I have seen that mangago and other have been exposed because of tiktok and finsta. Along with many other free illegal sites. Because of tiktokers 'sharing' websites without thinking twice of what all this actually.

    I don't know about tik tok cuz this app is banned in my country but it's bad but if anything goes down it would be latest manhwas not old mangas cuz thoze are literally translation old work of team , and Japan company don't care about them cuz those are unpopular and nowhere to be found beside illegal sites .
