I am on chapter 3 and I feel so bad for Luke. I get Stacy but at the same time, she should have been upfront about her feelings. They have been together for a long time so the spark fizzled out and now she is crushing on someone new and exciting. But she should know that just because something has become a routine/habit, it doesn't mean you continue doing that while hurting yourself and others. Luke is def hurt because they have been together for so long and to know that your gf doesn't like you the way you are and wants to change you to remain by your side like it's some chore is roughhhhh. I am glad they broke up, but I hope he gets a place to stay quick.

The author could have explored Kunimi’s depression a bit better. Maybe even if there were a few chapters leading up to how horrid his life it and why he ended it. It just started with the suicide and we were in his past so it kind of didn’t hold up. I cried reading it because I could understand why he did it but it would have been better if we could connect with him more.
