Tbh I think it's less authors modeling their MC's after Jinwoo and more authors making their MC's look like the beauty standard for guys in Korea; short black hair that's almost always parted midway, strong angular features, bodies that aren't too skinny or muscular, etc
Just look up "Korean male beauty standard" and you'll find most action MC's look like the guys in the example pics lol
