I think it is because we got introduced to his Twink version. That seeing him as a strong hunk is putting us off. I mean he is hot, but not what we are used to seeing. I like em both but after seeing him in his twink glory for so long the hunk doesn’t feel HIM. I mean of course its him, but WE as the readers, and the ml saw the twink version of him for most of the story. So even though we know it’s him it feels like he’s not in his body lol.

The first 100 chapters of the novel were all about how the game and the tower function. I haven't read it, I did find it on booktoki, but I wasn't in the mood for MTL, someone might have started translating tho on Novel updates since this manhwa gained big popularity
