Bro how am I supposed to start my thursdays the following weeks now that it's done? the tears & heartache i invested in this manhua is no joke. This is really one of the best I have read. This is probably one ofthe reason why I do not strongly (but ofc depending on the situation) believe in the saying:
1. you cannot give love if you don't love yourself
- a perfect example would be the likes of Euihyun, who has a lot to give for others (family), that they're willing to sacrifice themselves for that specific cause. It's selfless love. But, too much of it can be toxic.
2. you cannot give love if you love yourself too much
- loving yourself (example, Taeju's case) can clearly guide you in achieving what you want in life, whether it be career, friendship, love. It helps lessen the pain/unnecessary detours that could bring you uncertainty. But, like the first one, too much of it can also be toxic & harmful, not just on oneself, but also others.
I believe that love is hard & will only hurt if there is no balance & you do not let yourself give/be loved. It will only be hard if we try to keep pushing the love we only want, and not understanding & accepting what other love there is.
They both need to let go of their pride & TALK. IT. OUT. They're both not very willing at first & only thought about themselves, that's why they're here. And now they're both hurting.

Well as mentioned in the chapter, he is tired of the the same fate repeating for him and each time its miserable for him so he wants mc to atleast feels it ones what he's been going through. He knows mc has the dragon's orb so he wont die thats why he is doing it coz he wants mc to feel the agony of drowning while alive atleast ones. That mf still doesnt want t admit that what he is facing is consequences to his own actions. King never ordered to kill the mc coz he loves him but this mf took it on himself to kill the mc coz he was a thorn in the king's successful reign, king was mad and punished him by plucking out his eyeballs, cutting his tongue and throwing him in the sea. On top of that since he killed the dragon's lover, he got the curse to have the same life repeated again n again so now he wants to instinct atleast some of that pain back to mc coz he basically blames him for all that.

Nor my parents, but i hope everyone reads this. Being parents doesn't have to be 1 of each biological gender. It's rude to say this but sometimes, parents from the LGBT community are more accepting & understanding than those of hetero parents. And it actually says a lot when the kid grows up. I hope more people can treat LGBT parents as something normal.
