Characters like kashan are such an interesting grey area That I always enjoy seeing develop as the story goes on. Not inherently a malicious or dubious character but rather just a product of a different culture and way of life. Like in his head this all just very logical, straightfoward and efficient so he sees no fault in it. Since it's the way his species has always been and he sees no wrong in it. And tbh in their world it probably isn't. He did mention it before, it's the way his kind has survived and maintained stable numbers. Humans have their own moral compas and so do them, granted it's very animal like.

I don't usually like age gap stories of this nature but there's something about this story specifically that makes me feel all fuzzy inside no matter how many times I read it.
There's so much tenderness and warmth just emanating from their relationship. Yamada treats chihiro with nothing but kindness and respect and it's just absolutely precious.

sometimes slice of manga like this get another series focused on the main couple's adult lives together kind of like what they did with "karakai jouzu no takagi-san".
and if I remember correctly there was a chapter here where sempai was sick and nagatoro came to take care of him. Though senpai was a bit out of it because of the fever at one point he seemed to have what looked like a glimpse of the future where nagatoro looked more grown up, was wearing an office outfit and was even calling herself his wife. Which I think was supposed to hint that in the future not only are they still together but also live together as well. And even got married.

For me , Even if a manga is like 95% sex scenes I still like having the remainig 5% being used to show the couple having even the SLIGHTEST hint of emotional connection. I hope we'll get to see desire for a deeper emotional bond from Richard towards Courtney. we have yet to know how or why he chose courtney specifically. Aside from his sexual fetishes ofcourse. I was slightly disappointed in his response to her emotional breakdown. I think that was the most vulnerable we've seen courtney so far. That was a perfect chance to show he can be sincere and emphatetic but still he only responded with arousal. I'm aware the story is only starting out. But I guess I just found it weird since in this type of stories where the ML was interested in the FL first they tend to sort of hint you in to how they really feel during emotional moments like that.
Contrary to a lot of people I read this story before "majou to inu" and I just couldn't understand all the positive comments about that couple. Clearly now after reading this everyone else has rightfully changed sides because keigo is a selfish piece of shit. Like I'm sorry bro, but u can't expect sympathy after doing the same horrible shit that was done to you to another completely innocent person without any hint of remorse. These motherfuckers were gonna not only drug juuichi but also have him raped by God knows how many people which besides already being absolutely awful as it is, would also reduce his life span. And as if that wasn't enough, even after they let them go sudou mentions they most likely also already sold all the imformation about them to other suspicious people so they'll have to be on the run forever. Oh but Keigo doesn't have to worry about shit though. He's a high ranking yakuza. He'll be fine and protected but that's not the case for juiichi and sudou. They're gonna have to spend the rest of their lives on the run never knowing peace.
Completely agree with you I only like this story because of the main couple I haven't even read the sides story because I hate them.
