sometimes slice of manga like this get another series focused on the main couple's adult lives together kind of like what they did with "karakai jouzu no takagi-san".
and if I remember correctly there was a chapter here where sempai was sick and nagatoro came to take care of him. Though senpai was a bit out of it because of the fever at one point he seemed to have what looked like a glimpse of the future where nagatoro looked more grown up, was wearing an office outfit and was even calling herself his wife. Which I think was supposed to hint that in the future not only are they still together but also live together as well. And even got married.
For me , Even if a manga is like 95% sex scenes I still like having the remainig 5% being used to show the couple having even the SLIGHTEST hint of emotional connection. I hope we'll get to see desire for a deeper emotional bond from Richard towards Courtney. we have yet to know how or why he chose courtney specifically. Aside from his sexual fetishes ofcourse. I was slightly disappointed in his response to her emotional breakdown. I think that was the most vulnerable we've seen courtney so far. That was a perfect chance to show he can be sincere and emphatetic but still he only responded with arousal. I'm aware the story is only starting out. But I guess I just found it weird since in this type of stories where the ML was interested in the FL first they tend to sort of hint you in to how they really feel during emotional moments like that.
Honestly I've always hated that memory loss trope where they now have this weird dynamic with the person they are now and who they used to be.
Things like "what's so good about the past me?, forget about him. I'm the one who's here now". It pisses me off, they're treating the main character I loved and who's story I've been following all this time almost like an obstacle or a hyndrance. Makes me hate the new personality because now they're just here shit talking their past self without even knowing anything or the things they went through.
It also creates this weird situation where it feels like the other person is cheating on the original personality with the new one even though it technically isn't cheating because it's still them to some degree but like it's also not at the same time? it's a mess.
Then you're left feeling bad for the new personality because it's not like they asked to be there and everyone else is just missing the older one so the new one is left feeling like they're not wanted.
I have this feeling in my gut that the reason toma is so deadset on being with minjoon all the time is that there might be some emotional remnants of trauma from losing his mom. On top of the fact that minjoon was abducted by the grandpa for several days in the past.
So he feels anxious of minjoon going somewhere without him.
It's absolutely devastating to me that jooha lost his memory. But The thing that breaks my heart the most is that despite how dooshik definitely misses the old him, he still keeps loving him as a whole even if his memories are gone. He doesn't even care about how much he himself is hurting because he can tell that jooha is much more cheerful and relaxed not being able to remember all his trauma.
Sometimes ignorance reallys is bliss and for someone who has gone threw such awful things like jooha, it was his freedom.
