- u know how slay vegas are like "valuable" maybe that thing was after whatever he and his son were, so he left to dristract attention from chise and her mother (since most likely chise's mother was also a slay vega)
-I have kind of a theory that something may happen to slay vegas other than death and maybe MAYBE that's why yuuki left chise's mother and why he actually offered chise to leave with him but then brushed it off quickly because he remembered she's the same
