Spoiler ahead
I anticipated something like this will happen because let's be fr, in order for mortal and immortal being to be together and for story not to end as complete disaster+tragic heartbreak we have 3 possibilities
1) Jaeshin exchanging his immortality for Nok's life (idk if the story gas material for that because we never saw any hints about immortals being able to do that)
2) Nok being dead, going to underworld and than getting some position as reaper or whatever else so he can be immortal and enjoying his new 'life' with Jaeshin (less likely to happen, or at least I don't find anything in the story that hint something like that will happen)
3) Nok being reincarnated after God knows how long and Jaeshin waiting for him. In order for this to work again Nok needs to be born like some special immortal being. Otherwise he'll die again, unless Jaeshin is somehow reincarnated as well and is also mortal ( Something similar like in Ghost child/Haunted by desire)
Maybe some more possibilities like Nok actually not being dead and them figuring how to stay together despite one being mortal one immortal, like finding a way for Nok to live forever.
Or author will pull out some greater twist, because so far, story is masterpiece

Thought of reposting this comment again, it's been awhile since I wrote it.
This may answer why it's not updated here anymore even tho they worked on 2nd part and why romance oart almost disappeared even tho it's manhua and we couldn't expect much to begin with.
Just checked the raws, and saw the notice authors put up
This is what was written, I used Google translate so it may not be 100% accurate.
"Halfway through this volume, due to force majeure, it needed to be completed. The plot in the second half was overturned and the update was delayed for a long time. I'm very sorry!
Just when we were writing our final words, we got another volume to wrap up the whole story. The next volume will be the final volume and will be updated from time to time. Thank you to everyone who has been following it until today!"
Seems like the 2nd season was abruptly finished due to some reason and there'll be just one more to finish the story. It's sad that they have to stop the project for whatever reason it may be. Just hope it's not due to any serious health/life matters.

Sorry for my yapping in advance, the story is just to interesting lol xD
Lord Mugo about whom the other god was talking seems like our asshole Mugo, those vivid memories of him showing middle fingers and doing all sort of things were hilarious, but there he doesn't really looks like Sir Mugo. I don't remember correctly, but was it said that 2 other personalities appeared later? So what if real Mugo isn't sir one, but asshole one. Especially since he's currently most dominant personality and once was talking with reflection in the mirror that seemed extremely evil.
Also, someone in the comments, translated Mugo's name from Korean to Chinese and than English (not sure if it's correct tho, I know nothing about either of the 2 languages) and said it means something along the lines of ' falsely accused '. We also saw from asshole Mugo visions that someone dear to him was killed and that someone seemed to resemble MC. Plus other god mentioned that Mugo wasn't like other real gods ( because he was asked about being alpha, etc).
There was manhwa I once read, can barely remember anything, but there the boy was offered as sacrifice to huge mountain snake so snake can become a dragon (it's something from mythology) and than protect them. Snake evolved after eating sacrifice and could switch personalities, but not in the way Mugo do that. In that story the boy remained more like vengeful energy.
So, what if similar happened to Mugo. Maybe he was human and probably in love with the ancestor of our MC, than that guy died. Either the family than accused Mugo or Mugo himself wanted revenge so he was offered to the mountain snake. That can kinda explain why he eats sacrifices from the family. If they offered him to snake so they can get protection and wealth, Mugo's revenge can be eating their offspring same way they sacrificed him for wealth. Because guardian gods doesn't usually eat those they need to protect. And Mugo got multiple personalities because of his mixed emotions that separated became clear and strong .
(Sir Mugo is still fishy tho, way to good guy to be real)

ML is so idiotically stupid. How can you be so selfish and feed someone you love with something you don't even know what is? And it's slowly destroying our poor baby.
Also, seems that professor knows about the drug and effects, which makes me think that he's maybe the real antagonist here. He was happy/satisfied with what he saw after MC took that damn drug. And ML is so stupid that it hurts, he could have easily believed drugs will do something different or won't have any side effects. Plus he got drugs from the guy who obviously isn't in good position anymore and he can be malicious towards ML since they are from the same agency and ML is still doing perfect job there
I'm not defending ML and his actions, he's selfish and extremely manipulative, I actually want to punch him straight in the face and step on his pp with dirty shoes. But something is telling me he has no idea how big the problem he created actually is.

If I was there I would have way to many questions, he would probably leave me die somewhere lol xD
Why are his arms black, but not his palms? So is it necrosis or covered up tattoos maybe because the placement of black color is in parts where gangsters usually have tattoos (plus he's big, capable, cocky, always wanted to live in big nice house etc), are those stitches on neck and ankles or are they tattoos too, is he one of the undead but with consciousness? Because when he got up from under the collapsed building and than found MC he already was looking like he looks now and has already established order in that city in the mountains, so it's not the building there that killed him. Why he wasn't able to solve the probles on test that like 5yo solved, did he lack education? Or he actually have it but is undead and maybe it has something to do with that. Why isn't he eating and drinking, maybe he wasn't given a chance yet or he's undead and they don't eat food.
Or it's rude to ask all this questions as soon as you met someone and that someone saved your life hahahhahahaha. (Ik the story progress will reveal everything and it wouldn't be interesting if MC straight up asked all of that, but you got the point xD)

Am I tripping or there's a half visible image of the hand (looks like real hand positioned like the one in 'Creation of Adam' picture lol) it's in the panel where SY talks with coach guy while sitting on the banch. It's dark behind SY, part is black, part resemble the smoke or maybe steam, than on the left are fingers?
(In latest chapter)
At least the title and the logo (idk how to call it) at the beginning of this chapter are no longer black. It's back to original color, so let's hope this shit show will start to untangle because the entire story is pissing me off
