I've been wondering... Did chloe already have her first night with her late shitgibbon husband?

Lol i get you xD she was raped by him, and she had to sleep with certain smelling salts/ candles because she couldn’t sleep without them ever since he took her virginity. The novel kept talking about how chloe believed she could never have kids because her ex-husband made her believe that she was infertile when it was the ex-husband who was infertile. He straight up blamed her for them not having children. But, *spoiler*, Chloe has sex again with Alexander and she finally sees sex as a good thing.

Somehow, this become an entirely different story now... The excitement and joy that i used to feel whenever i read this is now gone. The character development of ML is quite odd. The villainess FL is not a villainesss anymore. And the romance is worse than before (it's kinda boring now). Idk maybe just me..

This follows a lot of the same tropes as “doctor Elise” like, ‘the fl was bad in the past but is good now’ and ‘the ml has some issues with a king/queen from the past and a lot of trauma surrounding it’ but this story is somehow way worse at those plots because the characters kinda suck about being decisive, none of them are really all that smart or capable like,,, Elise took time to become a surgeon and use the knowledge to be good, charti has literally done nothing to show she’s good now except having won leofred’s favor? Idk this plot is just going on way too long for an ending we all can predict
Soo casey will be with lily, and the prince with iris. But who will ashley end up with? Any spoiler?
i'm pretty sure that they said that Ashley would end up alone and open a store i believe.

Ashley takes up the count’s title from mildred and learns to be independent and smarter. I think it’s really nice since that also shows that she, a woman, was able to take a title. Also, it’s cool seeing a girl that was basically the picture book Cinderella not end up with anyone and becoming happy and successful with her own power.
