Liden's mother is innocent. The fault in this situation stays with the emperor and marques clide. Liden's mother can't just refuse the emperor ( because power dynamics) and the emperor is allowed to take multiple wives so she still didn't do anything wrong.
If the Marques truly wanted to help his sister, he either would've tried to reason with the emperor about the sanctity of his sister's position as the first wife or he would've gotten out of her marriage with the emperor. He did neither of those things because he most likely cared about his own proximity and power with emperor. Instead he framed and sacrifice the lives of and innocent woman and child.

I think he did it because he knew that if caitel achieve his goal (which is to kill his brother) he will no longer care abt the empire or like will lost motivation in ruling the empire. And perdel thinks that if that happens, the peace to the empire will disappear. I think that is the reason why he help the prince to escape from caitel's grasp so that he can keep being interested on being emperor until he make sure to kill his brother something like that??(〜￣△￣)〜

However this Ruve is a different Ruve than before. They have different mindsets, thoughts, actions, and experiences because when you go back in time you completely change the people around you unless somebody else goes back in time with you, hence Jieun. So you can never truly fault this Ruve because he is a different Ruve than before and even the Arista and Ruve address this (as a point to the readers because as we can see by the comments that went over many peoples heads), but she’s just not ready to accept the changes because of the trauma that she has experience.
However, she is in valuating him for who he is NOW and is basing this what he has done in this timeline and what he says now because she knows that she can’t truly fault this person because he never done any of those things, and it’s nearly impossible for him to be the same person because of the development that has occurred(and the simple facts that time travel completely changes the people around you based on what you do).
