My "Chang vibe" is even stronger now. I think it even more likely that not only Chang interested in Ed, but that Ed will eventually end up with Chang. McQueen will just be a detour along the way, and the sort of thing to make the story interesting. It sure sounds like Chang is trying to use that debt to keep Ed with him.

IDK- I loved this manga, its premise and characters when it first started. But now, while I still love the characters, I feel like somewhere along the line the story is losing its premise. I could be wrong, but part of what made this story interesting to me was seeing how they would get to be together openly and still have their careers. Yet instead now it seems to be sidetracking itself with misunderstandings and other stuff.

Maybe I'm just imagining it, but I get this vibe that the story may be leading towards Chang having feelings for the MC. And that when he finds out how he is earning the money to pay him back he won't be pleased, but will go all possesive.

... and then he and the porn director will fight over him.

Felt it too since changs character was introduced

I love Chang's character, so I'd really like to see Chang mess Ed up. I've only told that to a couple people in the scan group because I thought people would rip me to shreds for wanting that. But I REALLY like Chang for some reason. I highly doubt it'll happen. I'm excited to see where the story is going to go!!

Ever since I saw him I felt this might be a possibility.

I actually have a feeling that chang once he finds out about his job will be like
"So you like getting f---- in the ---,huh?"
*overpowers MC and fudges him himself*
Ahhh ♡♡♡ im so excited for that scene. I rly ship the boss and MC.
The blond guy.. not so much. ._. But since hes in the front page, theyre endgame surely.

    Amberwaves January 8, 2019 5:57 pm

Guess I'm not the only one with this feeling. I know a lot of people are shipping Ed with the blond guy (forget his name) but I admit since Chang was introduced I rather prefer him with Chang. There is more story there, and therefore more chemistry to the sex and the relationship. With the blond guy it simply wouldn't be as interesting and in the end just really be about the sex. Hot sex but still....
So I see the blond guy as either a possible love rival to Chang or maybe even Chang's later accomplice.

The shared past, angst and unresolved sexual tension makes this ship more flavorful than lust at first sight!!! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I love this story for having a much more realistic portrayal of rape, and the sometimes messy emotions that surround it. And despite that somehow still being able to retain some of its romantic mood. Though it will especially depend on HOW things work out between the MCs. That was the good.
Now to the bad. The flow of the story seems choppy in places because important little details are missing. While I don't need to know exactly what that guy did to the MC, we are barely shown anything, except him suddenly being tied up in a car (how did that happen?) and then somewhere else being threatened with a massive butt plug, still tied up. Then he's in the hospital and so is someone else? Who? How? Never mind the why the guy did it to begin with. That I can sort of guess...

What gets to me isn't the supposedly non-consensual sex stuff in and of itself, but the hypocrisy of the character. The seme is the one who has decided that sex is off limits and is playing games, then goes ahead and does something because HE is sexually frustrated, blaming the uke for that. The next morning even underscores this obvious contradiction when the uke makes it obvious that he is perfectly willing to have sex. So it is the seme's own fault if he's frustrated.

It also raises the question if he's even right. He's assuming that having sex without a meaningful relationship won't get him what he wants. So he's holding out for an ideal and playing games. But he doesn't consider that he may just lose out. If it was RL that is what would happen if you tried to force someone into relationship in that way, instead of building intimacy in any way you could.

THIS tbh. I wondered why the scene bugged me so much. The logic in the story itself and the rationalization behind it is fucked up! He's lucky he's hot!

    youraedthiswrogn November 28, 2018 1:31 am

I agree 100% and have been screeching about his redundancy and the sheer lack of logic in his actions literally since the chapter it started. I had a whole rant about this that chapter here: http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/3478921/

I rather enjoy that the manga is taking the time to develop the story and characters. Though I find the pink haired guy a bit oversensitive and over-reacting to what is after all at most minor weirdness. The worst the MC has done is stare at him a bit too much.

On a side note, I believe I once saw a program about facial blindness, in which those who suffered from quickly learned to identify people by other things. Such as timbre of voice, the way they moved, body type. Clothes and hair helped. None of it was foolproof of course, and they did often make mistakes. The same way we can recognize someone at a distance even when we can't see their face.

    Adibaby November 28, 2018 6:11 pm

I was thinking the opposite of you. Everything we learned could have been accomplished in two chapters and we could have gotten some acual development with the characters during the rest. This mostly felt like padding to me. As for the pink haired guy, yeah it fells like an overreaction to me too but i feel like most guys would react like this. Most men dont want to be stared at by other men. I think most would confront the guy and either tell him to stop or start a fight (if hes especially insecure/homophobic)

Amberwaves November 20, 2018 11:04 pm

After 2 chapters I find myself wondering if this is couple I want to root for. While the Yankee guy is cute and all, he does have some stalker like qualities which are less than charming. And he is the more likable character of the two. The other guy is just a bundle of issues. I don't even know where to start, in fact I won't. But he really needs to sort himself out, IMO, before getting into any relationship. This is just not one of those cases where I can easily buy the healing change of a relationship.

Amberwaves November 8, 2018 4:04 pm

This was a good story and really liked the depth of emotion and the characters. I have only one issue. I feel like all through the story it rather hinted that Haruhi's problems wasn't just caused by his own inferiority complex but rather by Katsuki's, who then actively worked to sabotage Haruhi's ability to have normal relationships with others. I would really have liked to have seen some resolution on that to feel real closure since Katsuki was the source of Haruhi's problems. But other than that it was a great read.

I realized that after reading that there might be more than one reason why Woo feels so insecure in their relationship. The first and more obvious is Taeyul's past as straight and previous desire for a family. Taeyul suddenly becoming Woo's dream lover would naturally feel unreal, and after having been seriously hurt by his former long term lover (who similarly was only gay for Woo), it will take time for him not to fear a repeat performance.

Second, I realized that it doesn't actually sound as if Woo has much real experience being in a relationship. Even with Yoon most of the time in the US they just lived together, it was unclear how much of that was actually spent as lovers, if any. Certainly not before Yoon became a mess over his mother's death, and I don't think during, and after they returned to Korea, to that lover when convenient relationship. So being in a real long term committed relationship may be new for Woo.

There I was reading, nearing the end, the mood dripping with blood and sex, when suddenly- wham- it turned light and funny. "Eh?" I thought "What just happened?!?" Oh well, whatever the mood I like it.
