Ummm... maybe don't post it here the literal day it updates on Lezhin. How will the author get paid? People illegally read here for free. They can stand to wait a few days...

I know that some people pay for it on lezhin and read on here too because I do the same thing. I just come on here to read comments because there's no comment section there. I wasn't expecting it to update today.
It still stands that manhwa authors know about these websites, especially this one, and several authors have asked for people that post on here to wait at least 3 days before posting it here because this is their main source of income. Not respecting that one little thing they ask of people is rude af.

I know that some people don't always have the money to spend on chapters every week, but Lezhin literally gives away free coins when you sign up for an account. And they give you coins all through the week that you can use to get new chapters without spending money. The authors spend 30+ hours a week planning and making new content for people, and they know about these websites. All most of them ask is that uploaders wait a few days so they can get paid. I don't think that's a lot to ask.

I don't think Seungho loves him either. He's acting more like Nakyum is a possession or an object he wants to control/doesn't want to share. But even if he does love him, why would Nakyum think so? He's been assaulted and held captive. I just reread the chapter and I don't know why everyone's trying to make this into a typical romance story, yet they get disappointed when it's not like that every week. There are different kinds of stories. Just because the manhwa has a lot of sex scenes, doesn't mean it's romance. Idk, maybe read 'BJ Alex' or 'The Good Teacher' if that's what you want in a story. *shrug*

Seungho definitely loves him, its just the kind of comic u have to reread and analyse to understand properly which is what makes it interesting, if u take everything everyone says or does at face value it's probably an entirely different story. its not rly comparable to the ones u gave as it is set in an entirely different period with societal issues, class differences etc. of course nobody is expecting a sweet love story but we can still expect development in the relationship, as we have already seen.

Agree to disagree, then. I also think this is more than just a surface romance story, and it takes some analyzing and intuition to understand. I just don't think that (personally) Seungho really loves him, at least not yet. (There just might not be another word to describe how Seungho is acting right now to Lord Min, and 'love' might be the closest equivalent to how Seungho feels.)
But I don't know about that last part. From the comments, it looks like there's a lot of people looking for a by-the-numbers normal romance manhwa.

maybe you're right i can't speak for everyone lol. and whether seungho loves him is up to interpretation i guess, the way he acts can't have any other explanation though really. he definitely doesn't treat him as though he loves him but i believe the author is trying to convey he does in a way he can't show it or know how to act on his emotions. why would the author make min say he has fallen for him if that's not the case? definitely not the purest form of love though lmao. hopefully we will get more context to his actions and his thoughts as the story progresses so we can make a definite assumption.

It's just my interpretation, but I was thinking that Byeonduck had Lord Min say that was to put the idea into Seungho's head because it's clear from his shock that even he didn't think that's what he felt. So maybe with the No-Name/Jinhwa subplot, it'll push the story towards more development and backstory for Seungho. And Lord Min saying that Seungho loves a peasant so loudly could have political outcomes if any of the other men there decided to spread the word, so that could be another subplot, maybe. But I'm just guesssing.

yh i think the plot will take a new route now that he has realized it, and that subplot seems possible. seungho already has a terrible reputation tho so he probably won't care too much for rumors but we will have to see, thats definitely a huge theme already though. i also find it interesting that the other men weren't hesitant in having sex (if it got to that point) with a low born either, but obviously thats different than falling for one lol.

And I'm confused why everyone is bending over backwards looking for ways to make this a happy/healthy relationship between Nakyum and Seungho. Obviously this isn't that kind of story, and if it is, then it would be so out of character for Seungho, a Lord, to openly love someone like Nakyum. Like, if you're looking for everyone to be all romantic and happy, maybe find a different story lol
some of y'all are taking this "team yahwi" "team cain" mess too far tbh. they're all just lines, colors, and pixels on a screen. it's just a story... it's not real... go outside. if you can't tell the difference between a simple manhwa and real life, then it's time to rejoin society outside or find something else to read. *shrug*
You realize people read manhwa to escape the shitty reality we live in lol, you commenting this defeats the whole purpose... stop trying to act like your helping anyone (● ̄(エ) ̄●)
Idk if u meant to reply to the person above me, I didn’t mean to imply we didn’t have a life I meant the opposite lol sorry if it came off different
I'm not talking down to anyone or trying to help anyone. I'm talking about the people in the comments who are attacking others and sending them malicious messages because they think one character is better than another. Like whatever you want; I don't care, but when it gets to the point that you're attacking strangers on the internet about a story, then you need to take a step back and go outside.
Obviously everyone here have lives lmfao. I'm talking about the people in the comments who are attacking others and sending them malicious messages because they think one character is better than another. Like whatever you want; I don't care, but when it gets to the point that you're attacking strangers on the internet about a story, then you need to take a step back and go outside.
Yo I totally agree with you man . I originally was like “haha I’m team Yahwi” as a joke but everyone is starting to be so toxic I don’t even wanna get involved anymore. Like yeah I know Yahwi is a jerk, that’s what makes this story more interesting and angsty lmao. He’s a fictional character for gods sake, people need to stop taking this whole debate too seriously. If you don’t like him, that’s fine, don’t start attacking others tho like wth...
you gotta chill... people enjoy shit like this similiarly to movies. people have interests, let them be. they can argue over the value of a character lmfao like they would if draco was better than harry or if eleven was better than kali
Yeah, people can enjoy anything because it's fiction, but when you start sending threats and harmful messages to actual people over fictional characters, that's not engaging with media. Some people in these comments need to calm down and let people have fun and like whatever they like because at the end of the day jooin, yahwi, and cain aren't real, but the person you just threatened on mangago is.
EXACTLY, I'm literally scrolling through the comments and I'm even scared to put out my own opinion about saying i prefer yahwi because I know a bunch of people will attack me and try to change my own opinion
ok yeah that i can agree with. a lot of people are taking it too far. theyre literally just characters. i do agree with fundamental disagreements tho, but sending threats or trying to intimidate someone over a literal manhwa character is bogus. its never that serious frrr
Yeah, I don't think my original comment was very clear on the behavior I was talking about, so that's my fault. I just think that if a simple manhwa is causing you so much stress that you feel the need to tell ppl to kill themselves or say they support xyz, then you need to take a break because that's not normal.
No you're good, I jumped to conclusions ad well. But yeah, never is it that serious, and at that point people really needa step down and go back outside to the real world. I agree
