Oh. Welp. I do understand what he is going through I would hate my mother as well but instead of bottling things up I would have a conversation with my mother that I will never be like her because I will be different because I am me. Kinda reminds me of me and my father's relationship a little except , my dad would get into a lot of fights and he dropped out of high school and such and he wants me to be better but continuously keeps comparing me to him. Kinda frustrating I know.
