No. Watching porn is watching porn. Reading yaoi is reading yaoi. Being invested in the plot doesn’t automatically make you a saint. If you want to watch something that can be perceived as bad (as long as it’s not r*pe/cp) then just say you watch it rather than coming up with reasons to get a better reputation. as someone who is part of lgbt community and also a fujoshi, i know lots of people been hating us and labeled some of us as "someone who fetishes gay sex". I would say, that I'm not part of it. I won't denied that there is a fujoshi who would ship literally everything and everyone and is that annoying? yes. i admit. and when they got too troublesome? it's fckin terrible. I, personally enjoy yaoi/sho-ai not because of the sex scene only. Sometimes, some story could only happens because it's between male or female. Some stories could be interesting because it's shonen ai / shoujo ai. I won't denied that i enjoyed some sex scene on the manga/webtoon. But i definitely agree with some people who think that shipping real people, are disgusting. I could differentiate between what is OKAY to enjoy and what is not. And it's not like liking yaoi/yuri is a new trend, it's been here since long time ago. also, it's all fiction for fuck sake, so yeah, if you think shonen ai is better, good for you then.
