a while ago, when the howls moving castle merry go round of life song got popular on tiktok, people kept posting prompts of situations they felt were fitting for the song. and in one video, someone had said something along the lines of “omg this song is so enemies to lovers discussing secret plans spitefully while ballroom dancing” and nevermore just so happens to have that exact scene, and that was when i decided that i really liked this story. this definitely fuels my love of the enemies to lovers trope.
