I'm gonna let this marinate. I'm at ch. 15 and there is barely any development with the two main characters and I skipped ahead to see if there was any change by ch. 37 and I couldn't really see it. So, I'm gonna let it marinate and hope that there is more development in the plot and characters by then.

I am happy that there was a good ending, but jesus christ. the ride to get there was rough. Like so much back and forth and miscommunication. And then when Hwan was pregnant he was just ok with it? Then the master tries to fetus deltus when he is the number one healer in the realm? What kind of writing is THIS?

After ch. 60 i feel like it has gone down hill so fast. Like, he was a little unhinged, but then he just became a psycho and a rapist. I feel like the story just lost so much respect imo. I don't know if he can be redeemed atp, and if the author tries, it better be good.
I also wish that Peter would grow a backbone and start sticking up for himself. He needs some character development for real.

Although it started in a pretty cliche way with the blackmail, I like that it progressed quickly and that Param went with Hwi after realizing his feelings. I feel like him sleeping with Mr. Han was unnecessary from a moral standpoint, but this is fiction and I think that seeing how Param's whole character is "sensitive and horny" it fit. I also like when Hwi admitted to liking Param quickly instead of adding another 50 chs. of fillers and sex. I think it was good for what it was.
Although there were aspects or romance and such, i like that it didn't focus on that. Instead, the author chose to focus on Yoohan and his story. His struggle to overcome his guilt and atone for his sins. I feel like they wrote it so well, not jumping into romance or him depending solely on Jay. Instead it was Yoohan working hard with Jay to find himself and get revenge.
The way it was written seemed very thorough imo. And the ending where the two are together but not extremely close also fits bc Yoohan is just barely overcoming his darkness and starting to depend on Jay. If he was madly in love it would have seemed rushed and ooc for Yoohan. Hopefully in the spin-off we'll get to see more of them being happy together and Yoohan's mentality will improve.
There was actual plot instead of full on smut and drama, which is a breath of fresh air. It also really makes me want to cherish my family and be a good person bc karma is a real thing.
