You don't see strong willed and experienced bottoms like MC that often so I'm giving him the benefit of doubt that he's not exactly an asshole but just an unreliable narrator. Like, we see his POV and he talks down on himself and frames himself as always the wrong one, even when others got obsessed with him, he still frames it as if he had something at fault there when it's really just his partner's fault. That's why we as the readers also see him as an asshole. I feel like in reality, everyone around him talks about how he's actually really nice and considerate and the obsessed mfs are just assholes who are toxic af, that's also why they became so obsessed with him, cause he's just that perfect of a person. I want to root for them and I want MC to finally be in a healthy relationship so I hope he's just an unreliable narrator.
I honestly feel like the sides were very underwhelming. The story could've done ok even without it, there's 11 chapters but it doesn't feel like anything changed or anything was tackled. It felt like the plot points they showed in the sides were solved halfway and isn't entirely addressed, which left me underwhelmed. It's still a cute story tho, just expected more from the sides.

I've always been entertained by how Dobin tackles the plot points/conflicts and how different he is from other MCs. I think ML's inner monologue actually answered why Dobin is so different from typical MCs, it's cause he doesn't run away from thr conflicts and only shakes them off. He's also fairly aware of things around him and other people's feelings but doesn't dabble on it too much that it messes up his pace. He's such a cutie with so much resilience. I don't think this story is one of the best BL manhwa out there but Dobin definitely is one of the best characters we'd find on a BL. Love him so much, my pookie.
I can't get over their fish eyes, they're so far apart, I breathe a sigh of relief whenever the shot is a side profile instead lmao. They also feel stiff for some reason. Also the shoes, well everyone has been saying, wtf are those? I literally said "ew" and felt physically hurt when I saw them. Idk, with how straight laced and morally upright Henry is, it just doesn't fit that he's actually an incestuous bastard. Not to mention, they looked like they were younger than 10 when they met before, so his younger brother would've been even younger. It doesn't seem right that he's already feeling incestuous things towards his brother then.

Idk if it's the author's trauma response or a kink cause while there is incest in their works, it's not viewed positively (in the story itself) so I'm confused if they like it or not lmao.
On another note, I still wish there were more sides for the main couple, kinda feel like their story ended on the part where the author was supposed to show us more. Ig some authors just aren't fond of writing stories with just fluff and peaceful things, that's why both stories end right where conflict is solved and no extras where they live more happily without the conflicts.
