Ugh, men and their petty egos. Get over her man, you're really starting a petty war 'cause your ex isn't coming back to you after you treated her like shit? I do kinda get it, (not him being petty, but him being obsessively in character) Maize said it so in the beginning, no matter how hard she tried to correct Choucre's character, he still went back to the storyline so she just decided to dump him. Yse and Maize saw able to get out of character cause it seems like either Yse has past memories and Maize is reincarnated or they're just both strong and Choucre is the only weak ass shit who can't break free from the cycle of the story.

I love the story and the characters, Toma and Minjun are just soooo cute, I love seeing their interactions especially with the other yakuza, but I don't like Daiki. Honestly, he's too stoic and stiff that I don't know how or why he fell for Minjun or at what point he did. He's just so bland, even Shaw or Kenta has better character development/exposition. His feelings are too unclear too, idk, I hope his character will get better.

I don't really mind that she doesn't return Nine's feelings or doesn't pay that much attention to it, romance isn't really the first thing in her mind after all. Not to mention, Nine doesn't confess his feelings for her, at most, in Melissa's eyes, he's just a servant/friend that she's close with. What irks me in this whole situation is how Melissa antagonizes Nine just because he doesn't want her to be this reckless. I mean, she of all the people should know that Nine doesn't think she's weak. Nine has depended on her more than she has on him. It's almost as if because of how things are in the novel (y'know, Yuri always being protected and seen as weak despite not asking for it and such) she's starting to think that everything and everyone is like that. She's reading into it too much, almost to the point that she's overreacting and looking like she's trying to prove something that doesn't need to be proven, or at least maybe already proven? Idk how to explain it but like, fuck. I would've felt this way whether she's being like this towards Nine or anyone, cause clearly, they're just worried, and Melissa is making it out to be as if they're undermining her. Think about it as if your parents saying don't go out too late, cause it can be dangerous with all the rapists and criminals wandering at night, would you be mad at them and say "Do you think I'm that weak?" Lmao.

False equivalency. A parent being concerned for a child is not the same as a friend being concerned for a friend. An equivalent scenario would be your FRIEND going “you’re shouldn’t go out late at night, even though you’re trained in self defense and are walking through a safe neighborhood.” Nine is not her parent. He’s her employee and friend. He’s trying to tell her what she can and cannot do, and THAT is where is he wrong. He’s also getting annoyed that she ISNT following what he says- which again, is overstepping. I mean, I get that Melissa thinking he’s undermining her is annoying. But he literally SAID “you’re a human...” In the scenario I mentioned, the equivalency would be the friend going “you’re a girl...” Doesn’t it seem wrong when you look at an accurately equivalent scene?

I don't think you got the right meaning of "you're a human" when he said it. It was more in the sense of "you're a living being too" because she CONSTANTLY puts herself in danger without visibly caring for the potential risks or accidents that could happen. Because let's be straight, even if for her it's sure that Yuri can help her, nothing GUARANTEE that it will be completely safe, especially with how much she's been changing the course of the story. Imagine if this ACTUALLY happened, then what? You'd ask him to live with the guilt and loss? Most people cussing at him for getting mad now would cuss at him for not stopping her when she had that idea. And idk for you but if the person I cherish the most in my life (because that's why Melissa is for Nine) told me the same bs she spouted about drinking poison, I would have slapped the shit out of them for saying that straight to my face. Like hell I'm supposed to help you in drinking actual poison. (⊙…⊙ )

Honestly, manipulators usually know what to say and do even if people don't open up to them, simply by just observing how someone reacts to what they say or do. And Dojun did open up to him the first time they did it, he has told Jinyoung his feelings for a couple of times already. Not to mention, Dojun is pretty transparent with his feelings, he immediately reacts to whatever Jinyoung is saying and Jinyoung can obviously see that based on how he keeps provoking Dojun. But we won't really know what Jinyoung's intentions are for sure until we switch to his POV so I myself am still holding back my opinions about him a tad bit, giving him the benefit of the doubt. I feel like a human trash for still shipping them despite Jinyoung potentially being a bit fucked up. ( ̄∇ ̄") A girl can fantasize, it's only fictional after all. So long as he has genuine feelings for Dojun, it's all good for me, since Dojun seems happy to be with him as well. And again, it's just a fictional story. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Mikhail doesn't have the ability to recover or light element because he said it himself, he must be guilty of something, and he def is. That's foreshadowing right there. Lol. Honestly, I feel like Mikhail has the power to influence someone's mind or something within that line. He cute tho, most fangirl's weakness; sweet, but a psycho. Lmao, we love our stans to be devilishly handsome and a lil bit fucked up.
I knew this will only be a short story, it had too good of a story and too healthy relationship. Dang it.(╯°Д °)╯╧╧ I'm having mixed emotions, happy that finally, they're both happy, but sad that it's all ending. I can't wait for the extras tho. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
