after haeil and pado slept together, haeil bumped into an asshole from their middle school days and started talking shit about how haeil and pado were a gay couple. flashbacks seem to show that haeil was verbally taunted by their classmates because of it and apparently haeil and pado were caught kissing (idk if the guy was making this up or if it legit happened). but because of this jerk, haeil plans to completely avoid pado so that rumours about him being gay won't ruin his future... pado called him but he didn't pick up and that's where season 1 ends. i genuinely feel bad for pado. haeil was the one who pushed him away first and broke his heart (presumably bc haeil was trying to protect pado) and then haeil comes back into his life and tries to get all close with him again, only to plan to ghost him after they spent the night and morning together. i just know this would crush pado. it's sad when i saw comments in the past about how pado is a cold jerk but lets remember that this guy dreamed of marrying haeil since he was a lil kid and even now we can see how he holds the biggest soft spot for haeil but he became ice cold after haeil left him and when they met again, it's clear pado was trying to guard his heart so he won't be hurt again!!!
