Jun has been in a one sided love towards his semp Ji Hwan to the point he deliberately held himself back a year in college so they could BOTH graduate the same year. Then One day Ji Hwan calls Jun out one day and asks him to help him care for his nephew Lu-er/Yule (the nephew's name changes depending on the translation crew) whom calls Jun 'mom' the first time he sees him. (●'◡'●)ﾉ
In the beginning Jun only agreed so he could get closer to Ji Hwan but he eventually grows closer and fonder of him becoming more his surrogate mother with the passing of time. Eventually we find out the reason Jun is doesn't seem to like kids is due to the fact when his parents gave birth to a boy girl twins that he was basically forced to babysit them ALL the time to the point his grades dropped. ╥﹏╥
But when his twin baby brother and sister stumbled on some pictures of a tutor he was crushing on at the time revealing his sexual orientation his relationship became strained and he grew distant with his father who never showed any affection towards him even when Jun was a child. （/TДT)/ I think in reality his father was just super serious and had his primary focus on his job because in recent chapters it shows he is not a bad person just not that expressive and not realizing until his son was grown up what he should of done more with him in that spending time with him over just working all time to provide for him.(⌒▽⌒)
At the end of season 1? (mangago didn't specify) Ji Hwan is studying abroad for a higher position and takes Yule with whom gets closer with his real mom (who is able to reunite with her first love whom was a woman) Jun despite his efforts was unable to do his plan of working hard to get in a position to go where Ji Hwan was but it worked out well because they both end up coming back and living together.
Towards the end of season 2 Yule's father begins to interfere when he finds out his ex-wife let Ji Hwan and Jun continue to raise and care for Yule (though she continues to visit him) as his Guardians thinking it is unfit for a child. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ And also partially due to feeling a bit resentful towards his ex-wife ( Yule's mom) whom never learned to love him and trying to force Yule in a direction he felt was more appropriate for him to live in.Σ( ￣□￣||)
In the end he gives up after losing in a bet to see if Yule wouldn't cry for Ji Hwan and Jun if left in a "normal" family setting.(⊙…⊙ )Season 2 ends with them back together. Jun finally is working at the same place as Ji Hwan they also get a cat sibling for Yule! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
On another side note the red hair guy and the daycare worker end up getting together and they have a close relationship with the Sihwoo the black haired child who has a hard time expressing himself due to things his parent and grandma said carelessly and is a bit of tsundere. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
Anyways that was as much as I could cram into a semi-quick review hope it helped but I would recommend reading the ENTIRE series all over again as there were a LOT of things that happened that I was unable to include even down to the little cute and funny moments.(▰˘◡˘▰)
