Can someone explain to me what sense it makes to pick up an officially translating series?? You can read it for free. You are directly supporting the author. And you are reading official translations, not some half-ass interpretations. So what’s the catch?? More importantly there are thousand of webtoons with no translations at all (I can give a list babe) so if someone can make this make sense to me I’d appreciate it
For the love of everything good DO NOT PICK THIS UP. We were 2 chapters (now 3 thanks) away from being caught up with the official translation! Whoever’s translating this, I know you think you’re doing something great with your weird looking text bubbles, messed up redrawings, and low quality translations but you’re not so cut the cameras. There’s thousands of other Webtoons that don’t have official translations to translate. Leave this alone!
And to all the “I don’t have money!” Bitch it’s free
Where is it? Is it this?

But it's not free though.
Can someone else please pick this up? NASS is so slow... the raws update weekly and is on chapter 93 while they update every 2 weeks. NASS staff is also pretty mean in general... I don’t want to support them but they got to take some really popular webtoons unfortunately
Well this is merely a guess but perhaps they're also working on other stories too. What they do isn't easy and the demand of them updating isn't focused only on this webtoon. They have others to worry about and they have a life. Complaining about it just so you can enjoy and not even considering them is plain selfish.
^^^
I get that they’re working on other stores but this is arguably their most demanded series and it hasn’t been updated in two weeks. If they are really swamped, they should drop some series to better manage their projects. And if they don’t want to focus on this specific series, they should drop it and I’m sure many other groups would gladly pick this up. Also I would like it if NASS just drop this in general because I don’t want to support the group regardless of their updating schedule (I’ve had/seen a lot of bad interactions with them). But Again they just unfortunately took a really popular series that I was into before they picked it up. If I could read this on any other outlet, I would take it in a second. Not trying to be selfish, just voicing my opinion
I would also like to point out many groups are not picking this up out of respect for Nass. So it isn’t that the supply isn’t there for the demand. I am in many discord where groups are trying to contact Nass and help with the series to get it updated. I think Nass really needs to consider its resources and give some series away if they can’t take them right now, because it’s not only Nass’ audience that wants to read this but everyone
NASS cannot carelessly just drop any series without any good reason just so they can focus on one or two series. They're most likely focusing on EVERY series they're working on and having trouble with trying to create the right schedule for everything when people would demand an update on other webtoons. The point is their situation isn't as easy as you may think for you to easily say things like "just drop it". It was their own decision and picked this series up, it means they have to take responsibility and they HAVE been responsible. And it will be also their choice whether to pass it onto others (and I'm sure they have a reason of not doing so). I'm rather grateful that they did. Redrawing, translating and so much more. It all takes time. 2weeks may be a long time if you compare it to others but at the very least it doesn't take a month or not updating at all. And again, it's not only the other series they worry about, they're people with a life and others to worry about. In terms of experience, I know the struggle of having to work and manage multiple things at once all the while people would only think of their own satisfactory. Like I said, not even considering such things that can be easily pointed out is quite selfish. I'm not sayinh you are, I'm saying your reasoning is. There's a difference. But I'm not saying you can't say your opinion as well.
But honestly speaking, your opinion/reason may sound selfish for me— but it's also reasonable and understandable in some ways so I'm not saying you're completely in the wrong.
Sorry you sound a bit confusing to me. You first state they can’t drop it without any important reason and then go on to say their life is very important. I think that’s a great reason to drop a series. If the group does not have the time, resources, and staff to continue updating, then they simply just drop it. There’s no point in overthinking it or trying to keep responsibility you can’t uphold at the cost of priorities in their life. Simply drop it and other people will pick up if it has a high demand or eventually. There’s no point in leading fans on thinking they are going to get updates when you can’t push it out. I am not trying to be selfish, I was once a supportive not Nass but due to my interactions with them, personally, I don’t care that much about the group. I’m grateful for what they do but other scans can do it just as well and I am quite open to other scans doing this series if Nass can’t uphold the responsibility. No one would blame them or hate them for it! It’s just not fair for Nass to hold tightly onto a series they can’t deliver right now due to whatever reasons. Again this series is not just enjoyed by Nass but by everyone so there’s many people who would jump to translate this and share it with everyone
Like I have mentioned before, it's their own choice to make if they want to continue the series or not. If they don't want to drop it then there's nothing more we can do about it. And yes, I mentioned their personal problems because that could be a possible reason as to why the updates aren't as fast as most series do so let me elaborate. If they want to continue working on this series despite having such a tight schedule and having to deal with own personal problems then let them. I know there are people who would want to enjoy but like I said, we can't do anything about that. And no I'm not gonna apologize for calling your opinions selfish, I dislike lying and sugar coating. But it doesn't mean I disrespect you either. I get your point but we must respect their decision as well. Their own problems can also be a good reason as to why the updates aren't as fast. If that's a great reason to drop a series then that's also a good reason to use-why the updates are staggering. And like I said, there's a high possibility they also focus on each and every series they've picked up and update them before moving on to the next. Yes, they may be lacking resources and staff members but we cannot force them to drop it if they don't want to. If they wanted to drop this series they would have, quite some time ago. I'm just looking at every possible reason why they've been working on this up until now. If you respect the fans and audience at least try understanding them as well. It's not that hard.
You've been basing your reasons for the fans and I've been stating my own thoughts for the NASS. As a fan and as a person who has chosen a similar path I can understand both sides but I just find it unfair how people can easily demand and get mad at those who try their best.
And since I have stated and cleared my opinion there's no more reason to stretch this debate. We're only going to end up saying the same things over and over if we were to draw it out even more. My opinions still stands and I won't take back any of my words. Our opinions clash and it would stay that way, continuing this won't help anything. Feel free to respond and I'll check it but I won't respond. It'll only be useless to. I'm not the type to fight someone until they back down just to make myself feel good. I respect your opinion and I hope you do too. That's all I have to say.
I can under where you’re coming from as well and you’re right: we can’t force them to drop the series. However, I can still advocate and collect support for other scans to pick this up and that’s what I am doing with this comment. I get that they may want to still work on the series, but if they can’t then they should drop it, so other people who can, may. Many scans have been respecting their decision and trying to reach out to them to understand what’s going on, but they are not responding. They are not being transparent with the fans. So if they are not respecting us why should we respect them? They don’t own the series, so there’s no reason for them to monopolize the series and there’s no reason for other people to respect their monopoly. Again, let’s not overthink it, if they can’t do it now, there’s no reason we should wait until they can do it in the future. I can agree to disagree and we can end this discussion here. However, my comment still stands someone else should pick this up regardless of what Nass wants to do. This series is not just for Nass but for the whole entire fanbase and it’s not fair that the fans have to suffer because of Nass.
well then again they said we can join the discord server and yell at staff to work faster.
Yeah I’ve been a part of their discord and they don’t actually mean that. If someone dared to pressure them, they get immediately blocked and removed from the server. They also don’t like people asking about updates or schedules that’s why they have the Google Drive schedule... but if you don’t know that and ask in general chat, you’re berated. The group isn’t that great but their discord is especially toxic
that pisses me off lol. they already have chapter 88 and 89 90% done too.
Really?! While that seems promising, I remember when I was still in the discord a chapter of the Monster Duchess was on 90% for 10 days! 10 days! I checked every single day and counted. I was like this is ridiculous! So I hope they come out soon but I’m not holding out hope lol
same. I know they wont drop such a popular series easily but I feel as though they should get some help with a collaboration with another scans group.
I agree. There are some scans like bucci gang that have done many collaborations and would be happy to help! I also know some of the wait is due to back to school season/summers over in the US so we could be looking at months long waits as ppl get busy again
yeah it sucks since most of them are college students too. i suppose most of the manhwa's are going to get slower and slower updates now that everything is starting back up.
