something that always bothers me in these kind of manga is the idea that bottoming makes it so that you're "still technically a virgin", i guess they Could mean it as he's a virgin when it comes to being a top, but then by that logic the other dude is also a virgin when it comes to being a bottom lol
it's so obvious in these types of things that bottoming is only seen as "the girl's role" and they're saying maki will forever be a virgin because hes a guy. like i know BL is BL and this is an older series and its just how it goes but bottoming isn't a demeaning or shameful thing and fujos need to stop acting like it is

it’s a japanese cultural thing. there are separate terms for men and women’s virginity (so old school, i know), which doesn’t come through in translation.

Every time I read BL and there's a female character who likes the main guy my thought is always I wish they'd give her a gf so she can be happy too AND THEY DID!!! I WAS SO SURPRISED!!!! i love this So Much
I'm rereading this manga after so long and I feel like there's a lot of little things that the mangaka does that makes this whole series very wholesome... Like I agree with ppl that sometimes Sato can be too harsh (although like....it's partly a gag manga, and that's sort of the gag, just like how girls irl aren't actually fainting in the hallways of a school lol) but I think that this is one of the more believable couples in BL. They call often (communication!), they're shown just hanging out and reading things in each other's rooms as teenagers do, and I think that Sato's really come a long way since the beginning of the manga wrt expressing his feelings!
Yeah ! And I really like that they still hangout with their friends too, that their world doesn’t just resolve around the two of them, we don’t get enough of that in manga...
whoa i binged this whole thing and it's so cuuuute i'm happy with the way they're fleshing taehyun's story out, it's not easy to get over a crush like that but he needs some closure ;___;
btw maybe it's cause im brown so im attuned to these things but why does it seem like dark skinned guys in webcomics/manga are always portrayed as aggressive/abusive?? it just makes me feel weird since he's the Only dark skinned person in this entire series and he's so obviously a bad guy but idk ╮(￣▽￣)╭
