was bored so i reread this again and my theory is….honestly i think he’s passed away when qiyu was still very young or smthing cuz no way in hell both the father and him literally make no effort to not reference to shen yu or even mention him at all if he was still alive. it honestly made me so sad . for jun xuanxiao i kinda get it bc mentions it his beloved shen yu it would make him sad or smthing (i believe he is still devoted and loyal to shen yu bc it doesnt seem like the emperor remarried or have a new queen beside him?), but for qiyu…. i really dont get it man why he’s written so whack like that, his selfish & arrogant personality i can see how since he did grew up very spoiled by his parents (see chapter 137+) . its very vague about what happened to shen yu honestly…. reading the current chapters make me realise that he’s probably 100% dead …..bc qiyu literally said “my emperial father is my closest kin by blood” :( :( arghhh i rlly dont kno, i dont like this season at all bc of alot of reasons like maybe the author is trying to rewrite the past ??? the conflicts are all so stupid too. song liqing reallty doesn’t deserve any of this shit . i don’t understand how the ml could be so fucked up like that, and i just rlly miss my bb shen yu

honestly i think aelock’s “punishments” for his “sins” is too much, :( like yes innocent omega fiancee raphiel in s1 didn’t deserve the ending he got & he probably felt alot of pain going through that... but aelock suffered even more abuse from both kloff & those disgusting men for YEARS. i feel like what aelock experience greatly outweighs what shitty thing he did to raphiel tbh (he rlly only paid them to SCARE him, but those men did even worse to raphiel) its kinda undeserving :(( and at the end s1 still suffered more even in the afterlife since he’s still all alone ┗( T﹏T )┛
