Anyone else notice Akihito has gained some muscles, like daymnnnn. Also i really just want Aki to stay put like a good boy and not get involved or do anything stupid but i also know that, that would be against his character because he needs to do something, aughh i just want them safe and happy.
In the next page he said it's because he doesn't want to hit anyone lol.
Hey so i was wondering if there were any mangas out there like blood bank. see it's amazing and the bdsm shown within the story is for once accurate for what actual bdsm is like, so i was wondering if there are any others out there that show bdsm in the same respectable and accurate light. Please and thankyou xoxo...
I know there are a lot of negative comments but as someone from the BDSM community it isn't very inaccurate, i wish there was a higher presence on safe words and consent but other than that the manga was very good, especially since a lot of yaoi mangas and others alike mix BDSM with abuse- which it is not.
I totally agree with you! (I've only ever stumbled once over a bdsm yaoi with a safe word) I think a lot of these people don't like this love story because it's not an ordinary love and doesn't use the conventional ways to express it.
I can't say I have ever been in a relationship such as this, I never understood how it could be love...
But after reading this manga I think I get it a bit now...
Not so much my cup of tea but I can understand to a degree as to what makes them happy... It's a mutual thing, it's what they both want together and with no one else...
Honestly have never gone into a BDSM relationship, but its interesting to know different... ways of life ^_^ SO! Thanks to your comment I now know this is accurate :D so thanks ^_^
I guess love takes all forms lol :) Well, as the saying goes, whatever floats your boat :D YAY love :P
(OK I will stop the babbling now >.<;)
As a BDSM practitioner for over 30 years, seeing a lack of "safety measures" in a fantasy is pretty common. I mean, it's a fantasy, not a how to manual. Not to mention that safe words are so varied and individual, how would an inexperienced reader react to the word "aubergine" or "kumquat" falling from the mouths of characters with no explanation? LOL Realism helps in a fantasy for those who are familiar, but too much realism can also make a fantasy feel tedious. Not to mention that the last thing anyone should do is take BDSM tips from a manga. BDSM isn't something you can "dabble" in without getting yourself or your partner hurt. Well, B&D less so than S&M. Still, it takes years of practice, careful guidance and minor injuries to get a good grip on BDSM. Doing a DP with rope on your first adventure into S&M and someone is walking away dead from septisemia. As for consent, again, it's a fantasy. No reader of smut or hentai wants to read 15 pages of informed consent conversation. My partner and I went through 4 hours of safety "training", two of which revolved around consent, before we could play together in the club we are a part of. Readers of erotic fiction want to see sex and action, even love conversations are good, but safety training... they'd be asleep or reading another manga before they got to the third frame. I completely agree that safety and consent are paramount in real life BDSM. I am an elder, trainer, medic and safety officer in my BDSM club. Nothing is more important than safety and consent. However, in a fantasy erotic manga, it is unnecessary. I know it sounds cold and callous, but if you are taking how to tips from a manga regarding ANYTHING, let alone BDSM sex, you deserve a Darwin Award (death by sheer stupidity).
LOL good point. I mean the countless memes for anime saying Logic/physics need not apply demonstrates how you shouldn't take tips for real like from manga/anime ^_^
