Ei did hand the letter to Jin, but right then, Ei saw Jin without a shirt and became mesmerized (and subsequently obsessed, lol!) with Jin's inverted nipples and in their struggle, Jin dropped the letter and forgot all about it. Gotta say, my favorite couple!! :D
