Jihyun: obv hate Jihyun because bros just like that - also personal note i dont think he deserved to cry and feel bad about everything. he knew what he was doing, the story shows that he was an asshole since he was a child, and just because he regrets what he did doesnt mean he has the right to suddenly say hes gonna atone for what hes done just because Chiwoo reached a breaking point - tho his dad and brother are both assholes and no one deserves to get hit as a child
Chiwoo: to be fair i kinda hated his character too. i understand him feeling scared but he knew what Jihyun did to the people who got close to him (e.g breaking peoples bones) but still decided that one shitty man was more important to worry about than someone who just wanted to be friends and play soccer (using broken leg guy as an example.) this does NOT mean i think he deserved to get raped and i completely understand and sympathise with Chiwoo's character post-rape arc - but still he lacks empathy for anyone other than the people he decides he likes, even if that means others get hurt because of it
Kyujin and Co: the ONLY characters i could tolerate in this whole webtoon was Kyujin, his friends, and the teacher. and that was IT

the art is gorgeous and nothing towards the author but this is rlly bland and hard to like. the characters are difficult to understand or like. and whatever romance might happen feels superficial and gross

i love action and this was honestly an amazing webtoon. the art (which gets better by alot) was gorgeous as well as the premise of the "game" and "leveling up" aspect was cool as hell + its completed and thats a plus
tho... i really hated the ending it felt like everything that had been built up, his progress from E rank to S+ rank was meaningless when he turned back time. and also the romance was weird for me there was no chemistry what soever that i saw between those two and the fact that his son practically instantly became level 100+ makes it seem like everything the mc did before to get stronger wasnt that hard or amazing at all.
Well if you were all powerful, wouldn't you do the same? He basically became a God. They could have skipped the whole cup thing and ended it there but the author wanted a happy ending and as a sucker for those, I love it. As for his son, he's not actually "leveling up" he was born powerful but his power was sealed. His dad is slowly unlocking the seal. He obviously doesn't want his son to actually suffer, he just wants him to prove that he can handle the full extent of his powers. As for the romance, I completely agree but the other option was to take some of the action out and replace it with romance which a lot of action readers don't like. Not to say your opinion isn't valid, I just wanted to put in my personal view of it. I genuinely cannot think of a way to improve this manga, in my eyes it's literally perfect.
true. everyones got their own preference when it comes to these things and personally i just found the ending unsatisfactory, if anyone found it otherwise im glad you like it! and yeah honestly (for me) i wouldve been happier if there was no romance at all - since im not a big fan of romance in action mangas.
tho again personal preferance! and yeah i agree with you that its an amazing manga
still, romance is better than harem imo. i hate harem but ill kinda accept romance, and the romance here also not annoying bcs they only appear at the end of the story
honestly the "redemption" arc was nice ig but he didnt deserve one at all. just because hes with some other guy now doesnt excuse the fact that he SA-d someone multiple times befire
