im gonna be honest jiyoung is such an amazing character i love her so much, same with jiwoo but i really dont want a romance between the two and it seems like its gonna happen. theres been hints throughout the whole series ever much earlier but its gotten rlly frequent now - they keep on having blush moments and personally it doesnt feel right to me lmao

Agreed. Ole girl shot her shot I ain't mad about that. At least she had the guts to try. Even if their was an inkling that two main leads liked each other it wasn't like their was a confirmation that those two were dating. Was she supposed to just move aside because those were giving side glances. And in the end she reflected and moved on. She didn't try to drag out drama or come between them once they got together. All in all this was a solid 10/10 read.

I actually personally believe this isn’t related to Maeda being a girl as much as other cases. Hating her seems excessive, but I can’t say I like her either. And no, I wouldn’t tbh? To ask MC, knowing he has strong feelings for ML is just selfish and cruel. Especially when they’re childhood/best friends and much closer than her with ML. If she asked one of ML’s other friends or talked privately to MC and just said she was interested in ML and hoped to chase him like MC or something, now that would be completely understandable. Altho I nvr rly understood asking your crush’s friends to help match you up with them either.

Jihyun: obv hate Jihyun because bros just like that - also personal note i dont think he deserved to cry and feel bad about everything. he knew what he was doing, the story shows that he was an asshole since he was a child, and just because he regrets what he did doesnt mean he has the right to suddenly say hes gonna atone for what hes done just because Chiwoo reached a breaking point - tho his dad and brother are both assholes and no one deserves to get hit as a child
Chiwoo: to be fair i kinda hated his character too. i understand him feeling scared but he knew what Jihyun did to the people who got close to him (e.g breaking peoples bones) but still decided that one shitty man was more important to worry about than someone who just wanted to be friends and play soccer (using broken leg guy as an example.) this does NOT mean i think he deserved to get raped and i completely understand and sympathise with Chiwoo's character post-rape arc - but still he lacks empathy for anyone other than the people he decides he likes, even if that means others get hurt because of it
Kyujin and Co: the ONLY characters i could tolerate in this whole webtoon was Kyujin, his friends, and the teacher. and that was IT
