satomi’s realization of how narita could’ve gotten removed himself—and u can make the case that, well he actually can’t since his boss is the one who tatted it on him—it’s just kinda…

i don’t necessarily see this going any certain way with them. i think satomi is confused on the tattoo or overthinking its significance (like how he did for the hug, so on.) his concern for narita and wanting him to leave his yakuza ways behind—but feeling as though he has no “grounds” or place to voice or ask for that from narita seem to be further adding to this need for a label/confirmation of his place in narita’s life.
also boss’ reunion with masa was so cute. i wonder why he ran away from home. maybe his dad was too coddling or overbearing?
