and one day the seme(?) had to go, so the uke (?) couldnt drink anything for a week, he almost starved and went to get a one night stand and the seme (?) saw that, but uke (?) could've died

My fair neighbor: A slice of life, romance story between a highschool girl and a guy working in a restaurant (who is 28 if I remember correctly). It sounds scandalous but I assure this is incredibly wholesome, the guy is very aware of the age gap and actually evades her love confessions a few times. This story deals with family issues, the girl with her overbearing mother and the guy with his father abandoning him in the past. A very heartwarming, soothing read :3
Mata, yume wo miteita: It's quite fluffy, but do keep in mind it deals with some mature themes like bullying, self-harm... The protagonist is a girl in elementary school who is trying to answer the question "What is happiness?" as an assignment from her teacher. It's not a super light read, but it is wholesome and soothed my heart :3
