It's clear whatever happened to both of them, one with their family and the other in their middle school, was really traumatic and of course it goes without saying that both of them will find it hard to open up about it
However at the same time they're both envious of the other person's close friend with whom they're comfortable sharing it with, which is not them. It's a form of jealousy and anxiety as well.
From haesol's pov it's normal to be wary of yeonwoo's bestfriend because they did have a very odd relationship of mutual dependance. However she did not know how to approach it properly and ended up being toxic and manipulated the friendship. She's concerned and jealous on one hand and on the other hand she's not ready to open up about her trauma either. This is a tough combination to work with
Yeonwoo on the other hand is concerned about haesol but he too isn't in the mindset to be able to share his trauma as well. However he too wants to know herself
They're both curious but aren't comfortable yet to reveal the cards in their hands, which is leading to the friction in the relationship.
At least they are talking it out and having a confrontation over it, which is far better than avoiding the topic forever and bottling all the feelings

Guys some of y'all are so used the to recycled regression trope with the "strong" FL who suddenly becomes strong as fuck and the ML who is a cheater and a bitch, y'all are judging this on the same standards.
This is not a story about revenge. It's of forgiveness and understanding. The ML has insane ptsd after war and it was extremely valid. War breaks people beyond repair. Now I am not saying he was valid in treating the FL as such, but he definitely tried his best. Their relationship got messed up only cause the doctor intervened.
And the FL is strong. Mental strength and forgiveness always takes much more willpower and strength than revenge. Revenge and hatred come easy, forgiveness and understanding do not.
She has always been from a poor family with a problematic father, and in the past life she was married for money. In this life she has improved a lot, she doesn't outright forgive the ML but she knows herself how badly war affects people.
Both the characters are really well fleshed out till now and both of them obviously care for each other both in the past and the present life, however due to the different kinds of lives they've led, they had a tough time finding a middle ground.

Such a good response. The fl is the kindest person at heart, understanding where he's come from, forgiving him, giving him another chance. The ml first of all is not even a cheater in this story but he is aggressive because war can make you loose your mind and i know this personally because my dad went through the same thing. this is a good written story .

Ok so from this insanely complicated plot what I've picked up is:
There exist multiple worlds, and even parallel worlds. In those worlds sometimes people called "users" are born, you have the power to transmigrate from world to world and bring about changes in it. I think typically each world has a single user.
The mc jinwoon was a user who was born into earth. He was unaware of his power of immortality, and he made a game, which turned into a world in itself. In that world Inas, was born as another user with powers of time control.
However somehow jinwoon transmigrated into the original world, and lived as mc for a long time till he went mad and handed over his responsibilities to Inas. At that point when his soul took a break, the soul of the original Duke's son awoke and realised an incompatibility within his own body and thus he left the body and assumed the body of glarus, the god
However this all seems to be a part of the plan of the original god, glarus because he was weak and was unable to handle two users at the same time, especially ones unaware of their powers.
So in an attempt to try to mend the world, the og glarus ended up making it even more warped.
Now it's none of their faults, it was basically a system error or glitch which ended up ruining their lives. This also was the cause of the loop which was triggered by Inas, in an attempt to save jinwoon (mc) from being expelled from the world as he loved him. Later the god tried to exchange their powers so that the foreign existence could be finally expelled, but that never happend.
And now since Inas and mc have exchanged places and powers so many times in order to protect the other, they've ended up with an amalgamation of powers to the point they've become a single entity. Which is probably why they're drawn to each other.
Now that mc has become aware of his powers he will try to reset everything for the better.
Now here's where my doubts come in:
• What exactly is the system? The system seems to be very contradictory, was it made by the original mc who is now glarus, or was it made my jinwoon before he wanted to forget everything?
• What in the world happened to the real world, earth? Cause if this world exists as a game in earth, how in the world is this world not being controlled or affected by the fact that their people are playable characters in another world?
• What's the point of users if no one knows them? Like even the users themselves don't know their abilities
• Who is this god that we saw in the latest chapters? Is he the one who's at the top of it all, or is there some sort of comittee of gods who maintain all the worlds. However if there indeed is a democracy and not a hierarchy, then why was glarus unable to manage two users?
• Where is the original glarus now? Is he the one who we were shown in the recent chapters as the god?
And personally I'll be honest, i have no clue why glarus never revealed the truth of the users and the entire details of this big blunder to the og Duke's son who overtook glarus' position? Wouldn't everything have been easier if they were aware of the existence of users, multiple worlds and the fact that everything was the fault of some error in the Matrix and not of the mc??
I'll be truthful, i love how complicated the story is, however it definitely made everything much more complex than it needed to be lmfao, because I have no clue the mc will fix everything, considering how far everyone and the world itself has been ruined

I'm pretty sure the system IS Glarus
The real earth still exists, he isn't in a game, the game is a world
Users seem to exist for funnies
It was mentioned in the story that this god is the god if earth
Glarus is still just the manifestation of good like it originally mentioned he was I'm pretty sure and the original Nigel just acts as a messenger of him (has his powers bc he follows his will or something)

Oh ok I got the system part
But one more thing, i know that the game is a world in itself, but isn't the world available as a playable game on earth?
Also are the gods also subject to some higher power or something? Cause why else couldn't they simply remove or stop mc from transmigrating in the first place?

Honestly when I saw the cover page my first thoughts were, "Is it related to cheating?"
But when the women were interacting and one of them said "Your meisen is lovely" I immediately understood they were both gay for their friends.
It hurts when you can see the love of your life everyday, but with the knowledge that you can never actually occupy the position next to them because society wouldn't allow it.
For love that deep that goes unreciprocated, it's a curse to face your love everyday but not be able to hold their hands or love them like a lover and not a friend.
See I'll be honest, these plots are always good but logically speaking if someone genuinely lived 9 lives, then do you really think they would want revenge? Cause to me it seems if someone like that could choose peace and just simply leave the country, it would be perfect
Because who in their right mindset would still want to be wrapped up in petty politics AFTER 9 LIVES?!
Idk I just always find it odd they never show the woman leaving the country and embarking on a journey to find true peace.
Of course this story is still really good though- that goes without saying
Tbh I understand you and agree with you, I find negative emotions like anger extremely exhausting and wouldn't be able to do it. I also think people share diffefent views and experience things differently, so I can't say people who are like Julia don't exist - people who can live for revenge and keep at it.
I'd also like to point out that it's (technically) more correct to say she died 9 times, rather than she had 9 lives, as we don't know how long she lived in most of them and how much time has actually passed for her. We do know that her first death happened a day to a week from the "safe point", as she had gone back and easily murdered.
(Ofc it's okay to call them past lives, but we have to remember they were never FULL lives. We don't know much time she has actually lived through, and I think keeping up with revenge also makes more sense when we assume each life took a different amount of time until she died and started over.
That's why ppl say forgiveness is not something what every person can do. She still hate everyone who killed her in her 8 lives. Her mind is consume with grudge and she become just like the same person who make her die for 8 times. Between a Saint and Devil she chose to be a devil. That's why ML said he doesn't like her smile.I believe she choose to get away from her ex between her 8 lives but still die and repeating again. If not it doesn't make sense how she know about pirates and other country royal affairs.
I would argue that it does, though. She didn't want revenge only on the ex, but his whole family, and we are reminded time and time again how powerful that family is in their country. She wanted to bring them down, and she would need political power in order to do so. Of course she would start paying attention to the details of things that happen (which so far have been political) when she started to form her plans to destroy the family. We also know that she is very intelligent, and even was close friends with a prince's lady-in-waiting/personal maid in at least one of her past lives, which is nothing to scoff at. She might have an excellent memory and an eye for detail, which would've helped her retain information.
Plus, when you're repeating your life multiple times, I wouldn't be surprised that you would start to memorise exact dates with important events.
I think it depends on what kind of person you are, the magnitude of the wrong and also your sense of justice. I'm the opposite. The idea of knowing the people who wronged me are living well and happy would grate at me forever. If you can't die regardless, why not get revenge and then move on happily with your life? I do kind of agree that its a looong time to hold a grudge but its a very serious grudge lol
Saaame. I feel like after 9 lives I would still want revenge. I think I will get tired of it and be numb emotionally but still wouldn't want them to live well. Plus, they aren't good people and killed the orphans (which are like family to the FL), if I'm capable of bringing out evidence, I'll still try to get revenge.
If you remember what she said in chapter 2, she tried to move on. It is just that damn family who still pursue her till the end. She has no choice. She won't live peacefully if that family is alive and well and have enough time and tenacy to kill her. If she will be going to be hunted anyway, might as well fight back.
Though she failed several times, her grudge deepen and that's why she was able to memorized the event. Try and try until you die.
I'm not really talking about this story in particular, but more so of this genre
Like I've seen so many people get reincarnated 100+ times, but they will still try to get revenge or maybe TRY to run away but they never actually do
Like I'm just saying, but mentally I don't think many would have mental capacity left to keep living a shit life filled with petty politics after dying brutally many a times.
I agree I feel like if i went through 100+ or even 9 lives and in each of those lives i have been miserable, i have tried to be kind I've tried to run away and they got to be happy thinking "yay shes gone" i feel like in order to feel peace in my soul they have to miserable at least once they'll never be able to feel the pain of going through 9 lives but its still so messed up for them to be happy
the reason why they never run away is because the people who are writing these stories write for basically 1 out of 2 reasons. To make a quick profit off of the newest trend (these reincarnation revenge manwhas) or to feel a minuscule sense of closure and relief for whatever type of injustice they faced in their life . Or both. These stories are usually a way to vent for people, for the author and also the people reading them. And someone who has to go to petty reincarnation revenge manwha to feel better probably hasn’t done the healing yet to move on, to seek true peace as you have said.
But i agree! i’d love to see something where the mc reaches happiness and peace, something like vinland saga where they develop as a character
The probability that kind of plot to be interesting is incredibly low though.
um when she go backs in time she is already being hunted down they even made the reference where she wanted to give up revenge but hyenas still assassinated her
I've said this before but I'm saying this again
One, I'm not just talking about this story, but this reincarnation multiple times genre itself
And second, if they wanted to make a story where she runs away, they would have. The hyenas and everything are all there so that it's going to be a revenge centric plot, not one where she runs away. The hyenas not letting her escape is a plot device that shows she exhausted everything and is a consequence of the predetermined revenge plot.
I see you're talking about this whole genre but honestly repeatedly coming back alive type of immortality is nothing but the worse curse a human could possibly have. Even if she runs away like author decided to just make a plot on that kind of story and she still comes back alive later without Hyenas or without her being exhausted by any other external factor. i wonder, how boring her life would have been. So I think this whole genre about "multiple cannot die reincarnation" is just the character being frustrated of immortality and is trying to lift this curse by closing the part of their life that may have possibly triggered it.
(sorry for my bad english)
