Well the first time, Hara was drunk and saying thing like "oh come on everyone jerked each other off in middle school" Which implys that he's fooling around. The second time, Hara's explanation/excuse was to say "why not if it feels good" basically. Neither of those responses scream "I love you"
Basically Hara was digging his own grave by acting like it was no big deal. The more nonchalant he was the more Suga felt like it meant nothing and if you are someone in love, the equivalent of 'it's just sex' is really not what you wanna hear.
not only that though. In the end, even WITH the misunderstanding Suga found out ON HIS OWN about Hara's feelings for him.
Hara ONLY found out when he saw Suga masturbating with his jacket. So in the end, Hara didn't even find out on his own.
Not only that, even after figuring out Suga's feelings, he couldn't even confess. Suga was the one who had to confess in the end. And it only took him 2 seconds after finding out Hara's real feelings. Something Hara himself confessed he couldn't do.
It all would have been simple if Hara had the actual balls to admit it first because HE knew of Suga's real feelings first. But he didn't confess. So Suga is not the one you should be blaming.
The whole irritating ride was because Hara couldn't open his mouth and confess properly.
