I feel like too much judgement is being put on Sohan here. I’m sure he’s grown up wanting a father figure and a normal father-son relationship in his life. He assumes that Sihwa’s gonna leave him now after he told him that his dad’s dead, so he’s probably trying to hold onto every other relationship he has possible.
He literally said this before that he’s now used to having someone else’s presence around him at all time and Sihwa leaving will probably break him and leave him cripplingly lonely. He probably doesn’t care if his dad is gonna leech him of his money if that means he’s not alone.
