The story is good and I like their relationship but I think the characters aren't good enough to fight and talkback with their enemies. If I were them I could've handled it in a better way like that part-timer. Juhyo didn't even talk back that he can say those things to him since he has more experienced on the job and the part-timer already owed him a lot. Idk why is it like that, I think the story is lacking in that part. I just hoped they were smarter with their words

I thought they are calling jaemin arrogant and smart for a reason but why can't he talk back when the other guy is telling him something. the categorization of the characters doesn't quite make sense. They're just making the drama long
Maybe my expectation was too high but if a character is smart I thought they should at least say a clever remark since the ex clearly did a lot of bad things in the past that he can talk back to him that will make him shut up. For Juhyo, he's way too nice to others so maybe that's why he didn't talk back but if he don't change in this series I'll get bad especially that there's something gonna happen in next next chaps
i do think the drama is unnecessary bc im here for juho’s development and not…..this mess.
but i also think its not unrealistic for them to act the way they do.
1) juho has been through a lot of shit, and deep down he probably thinks everything is his fault. although frustrating to watch, it’s normal for him to act the way that he did, given his experience. man has been gaslighted so much throughout his life. he has a lot of unresolved trauma. he wont immediately change just bc he met jaemin.
2) idk when its ever said that jaemin is….arrogant??? hes confident for sure, but not arrogant? again, i also think its normal for him to act the way that he did. he still doesnt know a lot of things about juho, not his family, his trauma, nor the full picture of his relationship with the psycho. and in some way, jaemin felt guilty for not being there for juho during his hardest time. it’s completely normal for him to be insecure about it. he’s not some narcissist who has no worry. human emotions arent black and white, and not everyone is the same.
yeah, the drama is just unnecessary really :/
1) hmm yeah, I just wished Jaemin said something before on the part-timer but maybe because he has a lot of things going through his life like you've said that's why he is like that. I just wish they'll be able to solve it right away because that part-timer is clearly at fault in this. I just don't like to make that problem worse when it can be fixed fast. I just think the unrealistic thing in there is when the other co-worker woman didn't say something to the part-timer. Well, idk her personality but my reaction for that is there's an audience, why are you not speaking? But then again maybe I'm just overanalyzing/judgemental in this. It's just my opinion why the characters are not good at fighting back. Sorry, I'm including the extra too.
2.) I guess it depends on the translation or is it mistranslation? I think that should be confident rather than arrogant. I thought it was arrogant so I'm thinking why Jaemin doesn't act like he knows it all because that's just how I view an arrogant person. If that is so, I think you're right. I was questioning his actions back when he was talking to Juhyo's ex (the one who said Jaemin is arrogant), but I now completely understand.

Since I'm in that kind of industry, if part-timers talked like that to the older ones or managers, they won't let themselves lose in an argument. Juhyo was taking care of someone else's business. I'm not sure what his position is but he is in a higher position than the other one that's why I thought they should've finished their argument there. But maybe because it's a cafe(?) and not big company or something, it's realistic.
