Um, so I've trying to find a manga where the MC has a twin, both of them were known as being seriously ruthless killers, who disappeared from an academy so he goes on an undercover mission to find out who killed his twin. At the academy he befriends a 'timid' boy, the crown prince is apparently behind the murder and can do some mind-controlling thingy(?).
That's the gist, I can't remember most but I hope someone can can help me; I've been searching for a month ;-;

Story did happen, it was the past timeline (PTL) and was a complete tragedy. It is likely the non-story world that the current personality was born into is a later timeline. Maybe reincarnation but only seme remembers? Maybe PTL is some sort of time loop?
Maybe the current personality came up with this to warn himself?
In current timeline (CTL), OG body most likely didn't retain any PTL memories. But when the OG body was about to be auctioned off, aka when the tragedy basically starts snowballing, OG personality essentially dies off and gets replaced with the current one. Rn I'm sensing a few plotholes in all of the branches that I can currently envision and am looking forward to how they would be resolved. :3
