He is a double agent for the Prince Heinley. His goal and task is to help disturbing the Empire so that they will win a war more easily. At first he was supposed to help target Navier because she is the brain and her family is the military support, but since Heinley have fallen in love with her he is targetting Trashta instead. In fact, he is supporting her to become the new Empress before plotting for her downfall, taking a lot of the Empire ressources (a very important duchy because located in a strategic place, a lot of money, the Imperial family's reputation and so on) with him.
