I would read a "what if" where she did actually lose her memories do Raymond and fell in love with him.
You know, in a different story setting where the plot would be just be a noble girl being obsessed with the hot guy, don't caring about him anymore and then losing her memories just for him to make her fall in love all over again. Without the transmigration/reincarnation thing. The obsessed thing Raymond showed in the last chapter did it for me.
I had the same thought as you, you know. Despite the fact that I'm one of those people who HATE him... Because it wouldn't be such a bad story, to be honest. It'd end up being one of those tales about some guy finally finding love after actually "growing the eff up" and becoming mature enough to accept his own real feelings... I say I wouldn't mind such a story because I'm not 100% convinced Raymond wouldn't have managed to develop feelings for og Agnes, even with the "mommy issues"... The mommy issues could have been the catalyst for him making himself spend quality time with her, and falling for her after getting to know her "real" self, as in the real self of ogAgnes once she ALSO grew the f**ck up and got over all that stalking and obsessive idiotic nonsense).
I mean, the whole "mommy issues" projection IS creepy and would certainly be off-putting if still kept for too long, even in this "What if" story... but... provided this AU Raymond had come to acknowlege them and openly discuss them with ogAgnes, out loud, and getting over them in the end, well enough to understand whether he still DOES have feelings for her, beyond all that... then I guess it'd have been fine...)
Yeah that's exactly it. A well developed story where they both mature and he a a real nice face to face talk, where Raymond talks about is mommy issues and OG Agnes would say she hates feeling lonely and he would realize that's why she was always so obsessed with him. If played right, it could become a great story.
nah, imo, i wouldn't say it'd be a great story, cause why the fuck would you date a guy who always ignore and insult you when you're actually feeling lonely. And the part where he actually blamed Agnes for summoning him to the palace when his mother died, that's actually ridiculous. He realises he doesn't want Agnes to leave him cause HE JUST WANT SOMEONE TO BE OBSESSED WITH HIM. If he likes Agnes, he wouldn't have made those expression and he would've regretted it completely, he just want to win her back. I do not care about his issues or complex, i do not accept him as the ML neither do the current FL
