I got confused at each chapter, I didn't know what went on plus the sudden time skip was so left field I wasn't even able to process it fully until the end. Plot holes galore, no character development, plot is flat, confusing af and most of all the title don't make sense. No hate but huuuhhh???
There was no real conclusion with the abusive guy. They just left him there after getting beat up then nothing.
The premise of the their reincarnation wasn't established enough; why them, why does only one person remember all their lives, why do they keep reincarnating, why does the god interfere with their lives, what did the checklist mean (was the God wishing for them to be happy, or was it just playing with them, if so why go to the trouble of being a middle man?). Is the reincarnation actually a curse?
At the end the god, just disappeared, what happens to the he/she interacted with, their memories for example, especially the MC since he/she played the little sisters role.
There were others but these ones are what bother me most. Is it right to call them plot holes? Or just things I question in the story?
I understand you completely and i agree with the lack of conclusion with the abusive guy. It was states that the reason why they themselves keep reincarnating as lovers was because in their first life as lovers, God itself was not satisfied with their ending/ intrested as to why the Main ML acted the way they did. So God decided to reincarnate them for a second chance, but the same thing kept happening, they couldnt last. So finally God intervenes as Jia. And the checklist represents the things they had to do in order for the two men to stay together and finally last. And i also agree with what you said with how they just straight up dissappear at the end, but I think the author purposfully did that for personal interpretation.
Im not sure about the to be continued, but if i remember correctly, the only reason why the two men reincarnate is because they were never together.(im not sure if this is correct since its been so long, sorry.) Now that they are finally together, and it appears that God has finally been satisfied, perhaps the cycle of reincarnate will stop. And if they do reincarnate, i believe it will be up to them to be lovers once again, and fate will bring them together, but not make them lovers. And since God achieved it once, they will no longer intervene...If that makes sense
Even before he was drugged I was confused by shin's motives. IDK anymore if he's actually genuinely in love with Wolfgang or if he's just obsessed with his idea of an ideal ruler. From the very start shin knew he could use wolfgang and wolfgang also agreed to being used just cuz he liked shin. Actually, I remember being blindsided by how their relationship progressed. Honestly, to me, I still don't understand how shin thinks and what he thinks of wolfgang. It seems like shin is able to sacrifice anything and everything for the "crown" and for his "ideal king" So it makes me wonder what would've happened if after the coup de ta, wolfgang never actually ascended the throne. Would shin still be by his side? Would shin still even look at him???
I'm sure it's love. Sometime love is not only about wanting to be with the other person. Also from the start he wanted to make wolfgang king because he wanted freedom but in the end because he loves wolfgang he stayed. Him sacrificing everything for the "crown" is pretty much the same as him sacrificing for wolfgang so not sure what you're trying to say there. And being an "ideal king" keeps wolfgang and his throne safe (the reason why shin is doing all of this)
yes shin's feeling is quite confusing because his way of thinking is complex and he's a genius. a real genius.
this is just my opinion but its love. shin loves wolfgang and vice versa. while wolfgang way of thinking is simpler like he loves him so he jsust love him (giving gift, make it obvious, sleeping together,) , shin thinks more complex like i said. his idea of ideal king is because he wanted to protect wolfgang in his own way. if wolfgang became the ideal king, he can worry no more. you know, you love someone so much that it scares you if anything happens to them and with wolfgang being the bastard kid, its dangerous.
that's why shin loses his shit whenever wolfgang get injured or being reckless. you can tell he's scared.
shin's a genius. he can always make another king. wolfgang was nothing but he made him a king. because he loves him.
its already clarified before, his deepest desire was wolfgang.
its just, shin is very hideous in showing his feeling.
there are times he's vulnerable when he's with wolfgang and i think for someone like shin who always wear a poker face, its enough to show that he loves wolfgang.
damn long write but i really love shin's character. its fresh and new
At one point, I thought it was love too, then somewhere along the way it started to feel more like an obsession. When I said sacrificing for the "crown" my thinking was basically related to my questions. Like if wolfgang wasn't king, if it was someone else, would shin still sacrifice himself to protect the king like he did. Or if wolfgang decided to leave the palace after the coup would shin have agreed to leave with him and not become a minister. My idea of shin making his "ideal king" was from wolfgang himself saying it, that after the public explosion incident shin became more obsessed about every single detail, from the clothes, garments, decors, color schemes etc to his conduct and the way he carries himself at official meetings, the private guards and even his to be queen. Shin was deciding everything to the point that it seemed almost manic. Even when shin was with Hainan his thought we always about protecting the "king" and the "throne". I don't remember him saying explicitly it was for wolfgang.
Sometimes I feel it has something to do with trauma of what he experienced as a child, that's why he isn't able to accept wolfgang feelings or show his own emotions/wanting. And like you said shin has his own way of protecting wolfgang, but why does his protection always include sacrificing himself, why does it also include finding a bride for the person he loves? Does his fear stem from his childhood, his freedom being taken? Wolfgang granted him the freedom he wanted, is that what he wants to protect? His freedom? Wolfgang as his king? Or wolfgang as a person?
Shin is a genius, I agree, but his extreme decisions leads me to think that maybe he's challenged somewhere. At times he seems to lack some common sense.
The gravity of his decisions weigh alot on wolfgangs mental and emotional capacity. Shin isn't simply doing a push and pull kinda move. His every action forces wolfgang to think more and more about shin which lead him to make decisions that make shin worry and stress, which then leads to shin's health to deteriorate, which causes wolgfang to worry and make more rash decisions, which make shin worry and this repeats again and again and again. That's basically the dynamic or the their relationship.
Somewhere in the future chapters I just hope that shin gets a wakeup call that wolfgang isn't someone he needs to protect on his own, that it's OK for him to show his affection even on normal days. That it's OK for him to not think about wolfgang as his king bit simply as wolfgang. Cuz honestly until then, it just feels like shin is trying to protect the "throne and crown" that allows him his freedom
I just...I... what??? Toxic sad boi yandere is head overheels for catfish dude because he got help in an online game. Said cat fish dude falls in love for toxic sad boi in a suspension bridge effect type scenario in fear of his life and getting caught in his own lie. And they lived happily ever after???
The craziness of the whole situation is just.... wow. I can't even begin to comprehend how people want more of this. Someone explain to me how a relationship like that can be called "fun". I get that it's fiction and all but that manipulative sad boi act is still fucked up. Plus the fact that cat fish dude realizes how fucked up the other lead is but still falls for him is another question mark.
If someone experiences this sort of manipulative relationship thing in real life (and some people actually do) and people see how wrong it is and point ot out, no one here would actually be calling it fun. 'Cuz scenario like this does translate to real life for some and no person around has ever gone to say things like "it's fun" or that "it's OK if...". That's 'cuz it's not.!
Exactly the whole time was shipping crazy boi with a therapist bc that’s what he needs. I was expecting some character development from him after yorong said that he needed a break but he was still so possessive and manipulative. Honestly if I had a bf/gf like that I would break up with them immediately. Everything he did was so outta line
Does this have a novel? Who does she really end up with?? I'm so curious right now!!!!
I'm pretty sure its Eugene <3
But why??? ╥﹏╥ how would they even make it work? Eugene being Duke makes things a lot complicated. Will he be passing his title or something??
well theres some tricks from that jealous bitch but in general noble society couldnt do much about it cause eugene became so influential and powerful to the point that people got scared to judge his relationship with hari
Why should he have to give up his title? I would say him being a Duke makes it even easier. He is the head of the House, the relatives are all dead or not influential, no one can complain, so he can basically do as he pleases... of course if she is officially in the family records as his adopted sister that is a bit of a problem, but there are lots of solutions for it (for example having her again adopted by another family, especially since Eugene as lots of power and influence there should be families wanting his favor who would take her in officially) and it's not really something he has to give up his title for.
Lmao I honestly kept thinking, “but if the sibs get married then aren’t they losing an opportunity to fortify the dukedom not obtaining an alliance with another powerful family? What if the king or attacks? What if they want to usurp him?!” Lmfao, I may be in the wrong genre
