As you know I failed my driving test before it even started yesterday, afterwards I took a lot of my anti depressants and went to a graduation party for a friend. Now at the party I find out that my best friend has her driving test tomorrow (today).

In a week I turn 18, and my driving test also changes with it. Where I live, I will be required to be tested for the freeway which as a minor I didn’t need to and was never prepared for, as well as I don’t have any adult with a license in my life to drive around with, while my best friend has been driving for two years with her dad everyday. She has aunts uncle and close friends to help and I have no one because I’m an immigrant. My mom refused to drive with me and my dad is busy working. I sit and look at my self and think this is all my fault for not working hard enough to and for making such a fucking stupid mistake, I feel guilty for the mistake and for being jealous. How lucky are my friends to have these people in their life but why not me too, why am I not lucky.
I included my dream because I guess even subconsciously I am jealous, and feel like I’m not enough to even be loved
Sorry I felt like I needed a rant and I don’t want to burden anyone in my life with this. Because it’s so fucking stupid and I feel like no one will understand.
It's understandable to be upset about not passing. But make sure you don't take it out on your friend. She didn't do anything wrong & it sounds like she's been practicing for awhile. One way to look at it, is that maybe it's good you didn't immediately pass if you're going to be turning 18 soon & still haven't practiced or prepared for the freeway. It would have sucked if one day you had to suddenly get on it & put yourself in danger because you got nervous because you were by yourself & wasn't prepared properly for the highway. People tend to drive differently on there & it can be pretty scary for newer drivers especially when it comes to getting off & on ramps. Also I'm not sure what part you may have messed up on if it was the actual driving or the exam portion, but it's better that it happened in a controlled environment where you & others that potentially couldve been on the road are safe & there was no accident, or forgetting rules/laws of the road while in action & by yourself. So don't see this as a failure, look at it as more time to actually prepare yourself so you truly can be independent once you get your license & are able to drive alone. & you won't have to go from a permit to a license now, you can get your license. It sucks that your parents are busy, I'm not sure if your friend got her full license or what state/country you are in, but if she is a fully licensed driver maybe she can ride with you while you get some road time in. & if she's your best friend & you're familiar with her parents it might be worth it to ask them if they can practice with you a few times since your parents aren't available to help. You should be proud to be an immigrant. There is nothing to be jealous or embarrassed about. Yes sometimes it's a little harder for you to reach your goals you set for yourself, but it also helps make you stronger and more capable of handling real world situations. You're going to be better prepared than a lot of people your age. You will be able to retake the test soon. So don't fret. Just take this time to read over your material & better prepare yourself.

It's like someone around you is being bullied but you don't do anything to help that person because "ignorance is bliss." If you're being neutral because you don't know enough about the conflict, you should at least gain some understanding of the situation. There is no true neutrality in a genocide.
