I'm reading near the End of this story. I have alot of questions about ML's family
Like um how can you be so homophobic towards your son, but nice to Jun (MC) as if you have someone to take care of him so you don't need to care anymore?

Finished the novel, this is DEFINITELY NOT a love story.

This is a Karmic af relationship, both deserve each other for how bad of a person they are.

ML a certified psychopath who's cold n indifferent to others even if they're dying in front of him, even if he has to sell his own parents for his own benefits.

MC is a pretentious person, doesn't give a fuck about his own friend but when he found out he's lied by ML. He uses his "friend" as the reason to hate ML while continue to be jealous of his dead friend in his head.

Ok so MC found out (kinda) about everything and how ML is abnormal from his mom's mannerisms to the ppl who knew him in schools.
He made alot of ppl die during his school days before making his fiance n Taeshin died.
ML is a certified psychopath and hates being viewed as abnormal and has been very denial about everyone's deaths including his abnormal condition.
After knowing enough, MC decided to vanish and wants to become more popular "Please make me famous, so if I die out of nowhere, people would still remember/know about me"
MC also stole important evidence inside ML's house (cz ML wanted MC to be under his control more so he forcely made them live together)
When ML came to MC's old apartment demanding for the evidence, MC said "Sure if you bark like a dog" (cz MC multiple times said why ML does things for power n goes so low for power like a dog)
You know what he did instead? ML FUCKING GRABS MC'S HAIR AND SMASH HIS WHOLE FACE/HEAD INTO THE WALL MANY TIMESSS.
Then he dared to get "scared" by MC's teary horrified expression then just ran off.
MC is determined to find out abt the true face of ML so he finds ways to go down the basement (underground parties) by himself. There he finally find out how Taeshin died, drugs, rapes, abuses n so many disgusting activities.
MC is then forcefully drugged and is about to get gang raped.
ML (who already saw MC from the moment he stepped in the party, to before seeing him get drugged n almost raped btw, just sit there next to him, drinking) set the whole place on fire and carries MC outside. His hands get burned during the escape.
(Btw he set it on fire cz everyone was focused on MC, n he ain't stepping in cz that would expose him so using fire is more of a convenient excuse)
Once they're outside, MC tries to smack ML's head with a big rock trying to kill him (cz he lost hope n sympathy for him after finding out the truths), he misses and gets weaker n collapsed (cz the drugs).
ML manages to get both of them into the car with blood bleeding out from his shoulder.

Um, he got gang raped, then kidnapped and tortured.
There's a basement? underground where all the elites party and have fun. But later they bring in sex, drugs n more illegal activities inside that basement.
ML milks the hell out of that basement because he gets dirts from everyone and can easily black mail them. That's how he gets his position and his comfortable life.
ML brought Taeshin into the party and others think it's a green flag for using/taking advantage of Taeshin cz ML brought him here.
Taeshin was tied up in the middle of the party, NAKED and got gang raped by 6 men, he begged ML for help but he just stared at him coldly.
After that, he got kidnapped and tortured on top of a mountain. He was found wounded with very little clothes and traumatized.
He started distancing himself away from ML until he decided to take his own life due to all the traumas.
Throughout this, ML in his mind, he thought Taeshin enjoys the rape cz Taeshin likes men???? He does not feel bad in any way.
Even in the parties, ML purposely says he has a disease so he can't join the activities but if anyone is wary or question him, he would still join in the gang rape

So far in the novel:
ML is hella crazy, insane, cold, manipulative and a control freak.
ML tells MC he likes MC cz he ain't whiny, clingy or bitchy all over him like his previous "lovers" n hook ups. But ML manipulatively trains and wants MC to be allll over him, it boosts his ego and makes him feel more secured.
ML didn't kill MC's friend and his previous fiance BUT he's THE REASON why they died. Because he doesn't love any of them, it's way worse for the fiance.
ML n the fiance are childhood friends and then become fiance because the girl loves him and he wants to take over her family business and ruin her family, for what you may wonder? Money n power.
ML manipulated n used the girl's love for him to steal important documents of her dad's company for himself which made her feel guilty later on towards her family, she wanted to break off the engagement but ML refused and forcefully did not allow her to do so because he needed her to take over the business.
The girl got so depressed that she got so drunk and purposely died so ML can live in guilt.
And you know what's ML's plan B? Seduce the girl's little sister ( ￣-￣) that sister is absolute shit also, she doesn't care abt her dead sister, she just wants ML for herself n keeps asking ML when can they have sex.
ML is disgusted by MC's friend n his previous fiance for giving the "died at 29" curse cz it brought him alot of troubles involving his reputation.
The sister is the 3rd person MC has been noticing.
ML came up with a play telling the sister to say she forces him to be with her so MC won't be more suspicious of ML. She gladly does it btw (she doesn't know MC is w ML)
ML "break up" w MC but orders ppl to stalk him and keep sending ppl to arrest MC whenever he's trying to do things to forget abt ML.
Barely see any love here because instead of wanting to treasure MC, ML says yea he's the 1st one who can influence my feelings and whenever he's near, I just want to fuck him senselessly and he CAN'T n Not Allowed to refuse him. ML said he ain't into rape but if it's MC, he just wants to rape him even when MC says no.
ML wants to train MC into being submissive but enjoy his sassy side, but it ain't allowed in bed because "If I say I want to cum inside you, you can't say No, you must spread your legs out and say pls cum inside me"
ML is a sex addicted/crazied around MC, and very controlling, to the point he said if he can't have him, he can just kill MC.
Oh yea throughout the story, ML lies 24/7 btw, his life motto is "to bring justice, you have to do illegal things on top of more illegal things"
MC is still in the dark about what's actual happening, he's mostly at home waiting for ML to come home. ML has manipulated n left MC no way of forgetting ML so he's in his lover boy mode now w ML which pleases ML alot, especially his dick.

Reading the novel, ML is crazyyyyy. He purposely edging MC making MC be jealous of his previous relationships while also being very controlling.
When MC is tired of the jealousy game he plays, MC decides to quit it and ignore ML just for ML to turn around dragging MC to meet w the "3rd person" to clear out misunderstanding JUST SO ML CAN CLAIM HE'LL DUMP MC TFFF??
After "dumping" MC, ML continues to ruins and controls MC's life. MC wants to forget abt ML but he can't CZ THE FUCKING ML BE MESSING AROUND.
MC wants to go traveling to forget, suddenly gets arrested for no reason instead. MC wants to hook up w other men to forget, and somehow he ends up being drugged and also gets arrested. MC has a trip to Bangkok for a concert, also gets stopped and arrested at the airport.
ML be doing things to ruin MC as if he wants to remind him he has nowhere and no one to run to whenever he's in trouble.
He doesn't even look or seem like he even loves MC, if anything, he's controlling, he said he likes MC cz he ain't whiny n bitchy abt his bad personality n personal life like his previous "lovers" or hook ups

He doesn't? Well not really.
Jun continues to skip school until graduation day. He is kinda bitter at the person who took his 1st rank as he's giving his speech (that guy ain't nice either, he has been edging MC n competitive w MC all for grades and since he took his 1st rank, he has been bragging abt it since) then he sees ML.
After seeing ML from afar, MC just tries to run away and ML also runs towards him. When he catches MC, he kneels down, hugging MC's feet with his face saying "Thank you Jun, thank you..." as if Jun tries to see him after repeated ignoring him (Jun ain't)
MC tries to run away again cz ML makes him very unstable, he even runs to America with his parents until his university starts.
When MC comes back, n starts looking at his phone in Korea (cz he uses different phones when he runs away) he contacts his teacher cz she was worried abt him. She asked him why he didn't go to school and did he manage to get into his university. MC then says he already applied early with an easier major for higher success rate. His teacher tells him he wouldn't need to lower his expectations n hopes if he just comes to school and sees his exam results. He got full scores in all subjects and he would be giving the speech instead of that other student too due to his high score.
MC also meets that guy who been on his high horse abt being 1st rank over MC again in his university (so far not alot of appearances from ML)

After being accepted to The University of Korea early, MC can easily skip school whenever he wants. Though, there's rumors of his haters saying he's skipping school n not doing well in school cz he failed and got rejected in his admission.
ML still tries to get MC's attention and continue to fail as MC has already had enough of him.
MC comes across Shin Jae Hyun at a library and they hang out a bit. MC actually likes SJH because he is smart and knows how to play the social games to avoid dramas, but not Like Like cz he's too much of a coward as he will back away immediately if there's any possibility of him being harmed in a way.
SJH tells MC the reason why all malicious rumors stopped is because ML made 2 of Junwoo's followers kissed n took a photo of them kissing before beating both of them up. Then said due to their jealousy, they had been making false and malicious rumors abt him n MC. (MC also got an unknown message saying "You think you're safe? I'll get you b*tch, I'll rip off that face of yours with acid and cut/rip your face off", MC already thinks it's probably Junwoo's follower after the incident)
SJH invites MC for coffee and when they're thinking of a reason to say goodbye, ML shows up, he's bitter, jealous and angry at SJH (SJH is very scared atm). MC is also mad, he can't take it anymore that he throw his coffee at ML, yell at him "You think you r my best friend? You were never even my friend to begin with" and grabs SJH to the exit.
SJH asks MC to let him go back n apologize to ML (cz he doesn't want to suffer being bullied) so MC has to let go and let him go apologize.
When MC is back at his house, ML keeps texting MC "Where are you?" n so on until his last message is him begging MC to answer him. MC then decide to answer, but use his anger n pent up frustration saying how he doesn't like ML anymore, he's over him.
Later ML shows up at MC's house around 3-4AM being drunk af, bagging and ringing the door bell for almost 2 hours straight.
When ML still sees rejection in MC's eyes, expression and words. He breaks, saying How unfair his life is that no one loves him, not even his family. All he wants is someone who can love him. His existence is such a mistake, how he's dumber than his sister (refers to previous chapter where his sister is proud of having higher IQ than ML hence why she sees ML as a lower being than her) and the fact that everything has always been taken away from him since he's born.
He says he thought MC n him are similar, fighting and doing everything to get ppl's approval and love until MC gets everything he ever wants, even the teachers love him. While he (ML) still doesn't have anything at all.
MC tells ML that no one is going to love him besides himself cz at the end of the day, even when MC's family do love him, they still choose work over him (mind you, according to what MC said, they don't go to his graduation AT ALL, he has spent having his graduation alone since small) then closes the door.
MC continue to skip school and ML continue to stalk MC at his house. MC's nanny says she always see someone looking into MC's room early in the morning and always at the exact same time

Continue with what I just talked abt up until chap 122
Jun (MC) is about to go along with Junwoo's previous follower's plan of bringing ML down.
When MC is about to confess he realized the one he loves the most is himself (lmao I knew it, good for him) and he doesn't want to ruin anyone at all and thinks maybe Taesan is right, maybe he's weird but nice in a way. So he tells ML abt the plan and where the follower mf hiding recording everything.
When the Mf is found, he starts screaming "I knew it, you 2 are gay as sh*t sucking and fucking each other huh...." (he keeps yapping shit) and ML punches and beats him up almost unrecognizable. MC has to stop him saying if he continues, it would affect him and his academic record then go away. ML listens to MC and calls another Junwoo's follower to come to the room (remember Junwoo had 2 mfs following him around). MC frames him for beating up the other mf and makes both of them in trouble.
Oh and MC told ML about the rumors going around the school so ML also solved that problem, now no more rumors especially rumors involving MC. Now everyone is being nice? but distance and scared of MC.
Since MC realized throughout everything, he just loves himself the most, he isn't scared of ML anymore and now really truly careless abt ML. He just wants to pass his exam and get into Korean University.
It's 2 weeks before the exam, MC decided to get in earlier through using all his academic records n scores and interviews, he passed. MC got accepted into Korean university early (also his rank is now 2nd in school, this is his 2nd times being 2nd, his previous record is always 1st ranked, beside the 12th rank incident, but MC doesn't care anymore, he passes the bar getting into his university)
ML continue trying to get MC's attention but since he gives 0 fuck now, he just responds with Yea, Uh Huh.... without listening to a thing ML says, this frustrated ML when he find out later on

Hm now Jun (MC) is hearing ML's side of the stories from ML's sister. But I think most of those information are them being narcissistic and think they're being forgiving and kind.
According to ML's sister, she says ML is an attention where, he has been like that since he was a child. She denied any possibility of ML lack attention and emotional support from their family. She argues everyone has put up with him and his bs enough to consider as kindness.
She says ML ruined the family when he said he wishes for a boyfriend and being able to date a boy from his school during Christmas. She calls him a sociopath, has ADHD, attention whore and gay. And she also brags about having IQ of 137 while ML only has 119 IQ, saying that's one of the main reason why he's a lower being than her (mind you, she's under 12y old kid)
She tells MC that everything ML does is all lies and MC is a fool for feeling bad/pity. She even says the reason why ML's dad likes MC is because 1st he has good grade, 2nd it's easier to push ML to MC and let MC fix him for him. She literally says "how is that a bad dad if he wants him to be near a good person? To be honest, he was even nicer to ML after the incident at the dinner table. And the crab? He's overreacting, he loves crab, you're just being fooled by him"
***Y'all, MC has seen ML being beaten up like a stray dog by his dad before and seen all his family curse and scream at ML with the nastiest language***

Anyway, MC is now confused, frustrated and feels betrayed thinking everything ML does and say are all lies now. He thinks he will try to go along with Junwoo's previous follower's plan to take ML down (he ain't rational here due to his anger). But when he practiced and said "I love you" he cried as it's his true feelings towards ML. He still doesn't like how he's being manipulated by ML (or by anyone) so he won't let ML get away that easily.
ML still stalks MC as usual while acting nonchalantly
