ML is an delusional ass for being a bully n delusional af BUT talking bad abt MC ain't it.
1. MC had a long time crush on someone and that guy liked ML, that guy was the reason why MC even interact w ML. MC approached ML and even fake praising ML for that guy.
2. It happened so often ML was delusional abt MC having feelings for him that's why he felt betrayed when he found out it wasn't like that (not an excuse for ML to bully MC)
3. ML isn't even the biggest bad guy here, it's literally MC's dad who doesn't give a f abt him, his mom or his siblings. MC already had a bad upbringing because of him.
And for y'all saying MC falls too quick, despite both being in a contract, ML treats MC like his lover, he is head over heels for MC. Mf is so dumb he thinks he can handle not meeting MC after 6 months (contract agreement) while confusing MC so much because he treats him so well.
For the contract, MC needs money to help with the bills for his sister's and mom's surgery (his dad abandoned all of them). He even reached out to a sugar mom before even thinking of contacting ML, he's desperate for a solution. The only reason why he cares for ML later on is because ML treats him very well. Even in the contract, ML writes all rules like must be w him, sleep w him at night, cook for him, call him honey n so on, man is IN LOVE. There's none in the contract that give MC any disadvantages

I read a book about a psychiatrist and a serial killer falling in love and filled with lots of manipulation on the psychiatrist side. that was so much fun to read! I would love to see it in a manwha or comic tho I feel like it would be even better.

This is going to be anonymous case of depressed Isekai MC. During his mother's death (caused by the Queen), ML will be so heartbroken that he pushes MC away and tells MC not to ever get close to him anymore. It shocks MC alot n make him depressed because he wanna at least be kind to MC during tough time knowing most of his suffering is caused by his mom. (The King is A PIECE OF SHIT too tho)
Fast forward to when they r grown, you will not see ML smile often because he thinks MC likes it better when he doesn't. When he smiles, MC thinks ML is plotting or trying to mess with him because ML was the one to tell MC to AVOID him. So MC came back active trying to find a chance to reconnect w MC confuses MC BECAUSE MF DON'T COMMUNICATE AT ALL.
ML also blamed MC for avoiding him, he said he didn't know his words would effect so strongly on MC (this is like after they have tons n tons of misunderstanding at the academy)
MC is very charming n nice so literally all the cast on the game love him (maybe not Gray but Gray rather choose to work for MC than ML cz he thinks ML has become crazy), Alex is the one who loves him the most besides ML. Even FL loves MC
Anyway be prepared for 90% of misunderstandings due to ML's delulu and MC's depression
