This BL manhwa is one of my favorite to the point where I actually went out and purchased the raw novel in bomtoon. Long story short, I discovered that this manhwa consisted of multiple novel: Passion (first novel), Diaphonic Symphonia (second novel), Suite (third novel), and Raga (fourth novel). We’re only on the first novel, I hope that all the novels get a manhwa adaptation.
(P.S It’s very hard to find an app to translate coherently so I am trying my best to give spoiler here and there to people who want to knows what’s coming up. Another thing, I did finish the first novel but stop at maybe half of the second novel so if anyone have more informations and want to share, go ahead.)

So basically the first novel will be the main couple: Ilay Riegrow (top) and Jeong Tae-ui (bottom), the second novel will be the main couple plus the new side couple: Richard (top) and Christophe (bottom), the third novel will be both the main couple and the side couple, and the fourth novel will finally be Yuri Gable (bottom ?) and Ling Xinru (top ?). This next part will only be the spoilers for the first novel, I won’t go into the second novel since this post alone is long enough. If people really want to know what happen in the second novel, I might consider it. Before proceeding, this spoiler will not be chapters by chapters, it will somewhat be in order. I was planning to translate this chapters by chapters but it will be a lot of dedication and time consuming which was the reason why I decided not to. Enough rambling from my part, here is the spoiler.
Spoiler ahead!!!
Before getting to the actual spoiler, I want to answer some questions about Gable. Yes, Gable and Xinru are one of the side couples and they will get together. No, there will not be any chemistry between Gable and Xinru in the first novel. Yes, I did think Gable was an old man when I read him in the novel, granted I did skip a lot. No, I don’t know the dynamic between Gable and Xinru since I haven’t read the fourth novel yet. I know a lot of people going to hate me for saying this since a lot of people are so excited for Gable but Gable doesn’t do much in the first novel. He appears, he’s there. He disappears, he’s gone. That’s how Gable feels like to me, the “villain” have more present than Gable and he isn’t even one of the couple. While reading the novel, I did ship the “villain” with someone though. Before I geeked out any further, let’s actually began where season 4 left off.
After Ilay and Tae-ui sexy time, they finally arrived in Seringe where Jae-ui supposedly hidden. They met up with Gable and had tour around the area. Finally, they arrived to a vacation house of sort. Most of the chapters were a lot of Ilay trying to come onto Tae-ui from what I read (more like dirty talk and close to sex scene), there were some interaction between Tae-ui and Gable, and Tae-ui roamed around the a lot house since Ilay wouldn’t let Tae-ui go out without supervision.
Sidetrack a little bit, the reason why I thought Gable was old because I imagined him as Alfred who served Bruce Wayne from Batman; Gable is to Alfred like Ilay is to Bruce Wayne aka a rich kid. In the novel, it mentioned that Gable like to swim a lot which I just thought it was just an old man who just like to swim and lived a healthy life, never would have thought he was a young, good looking person.
The interaction between Tae-ui and Gable wasn’t great at first but Gable gradually open up a little to Tae-ui. A sexy time-ish was when Tae-ui redundantly giving Ilay a blow job and Gable entered the room to inform Ilay about something which embarrassed the living hell out of Tae-ui. The whole scene was just so…natural.
After staying there for couple days, Tae-ui went out to beach and he met Xinru there. Xinru begged Tae-ui to leave with him and Ilay showed up, this scene was the very first interaction between Gable and Xinru. Shots was exchanged between Xinru and Ilay, Tae-ui tried to intervene but both bastards were too stubborn to backdown, granted Ilay did tell Xinru to back off. Xinru injured his eye and Ilay was totally fine. Once again, Tae-ui told Xinru to stop what he was doing, but is Xinru going to listen? Hell no, if he still alive, he isn’t going to stop. Gable helped Xinru with his injuries while Tae-ui went back with Ilay.
This part was a bit fogging to me but essentially Tae-ui went on a walk and got kidnap again, but this time he got kidnap by the “villain” goons. The villain was a middle eastern prince or some sort. He sort of imprisoned Jae-ui who was the older brother of Tae-ui. Tae-ui finally reunited with Jae-ui. I skipped most of the chapters where Tae-ui was kidnap and imprison by the prince, I am going to called the “villain” the prince since I forgot his name and I am too lazy to go back to search it up plus he isn’t even one of the couple.
A quick rundown, Tae-ui and Jae-ui talk to each other quite a bit especially about the “twin power” which I don’t care since I don’t care about Jae-ui that much. The prince absolutely hated Tae-ui because Tae-ui was the reason why Jae-ui have to suffer aka the “twin power”. Sidetrack a little bit, I don’t really understand what the prince try to achieved. From what I read, the prince kidnapped Jae-ui because he wanted Jae-ui to build him a weapon. Jae-ui didn’t want to build a weapon so he just loitering around knowing that the prince wouldn’t kill him since the prince wanted the weapon. The prince kidnapped Tae-ui just so Jae-ui wouldn’t be lonely and be reunited with Tae-ui. He wasn’t using Tae-ui as a hostage initially. After meeting with Jae-ui, Tae-ui wanted to leave and go back to Ilay since he made a promise to Ilay. Who would have thought that the younger brother begging to leave would change the older brother mind? Not the prince because he wasn’t expected Jae-ui to built him a weapon in order to leave. This was the part where the prince lost me. Maybe he did kidnapped Jae-ui to build him a weapon, but along the way he formed some sort of connection to Jae-ui. Nevertheless, I did kinda ship the prince with Jae-ui, but again he wasn’t one of the couple, but who knows.
The interaction between the prince and Jae-ui was kinda subtle and sweet. For example, he hated Tae-ui outright but he let Jae-ui did whatever he want even without the weapon. When Jae-ui initially asked the prince to let them go, the prince was shock and upset by it. Of course the prince refused, he then used Tae-ui as a hostage to keep Jae-ui imprisoned knowing that Jae-ui wouldn’t build a weapon for him. As you already know, Jae-ui did built the weapon. Even then the prince was reluctant to let them go. Enough with the prince and Jae-ui, let’s shifted back to Tae-ui.
While still being imprisoned with Jae-ui, Tae-ui wanted to leave but the prince didn’t trust Tae-ui to keep his mouth shut about the whereabout of Jae-ui. Tae-ui attempted to steal a guard phone and called someone for help. That someone was Ilay and it was a moment of confession-ish. For me, I interpreted Ilay to be panic but calm as he answered the phone call from Tae-ui. Ilay asked where Tae-ui was and etc, of course Tae-ui could only answered as much as he could since he was chased down by a bunch of guards. Before ending the call, Tae-ui asked Ilay what Ilay felt about Tae-ui or something along those line. Tae-ui couldn’t hear the answer because the guards took away the phone.
After everything, both Jae-ui and Tae-ui just loitering around until there was an explosion nearby. If you know Ilay, you know he love his explosion especially when he tried to find his lover. Don’t stand in this man way, or he will blow you into bits. The prince told both Jae-ui and Tae-ui to stay inside the house until he came back for them later, off the prince went somewhere safe. Tae-ui and Jae-ui tried to get to safety while tried to avoid mens who were coming after them as everything were exploded into pieces. Amidst the chaos, Tae-ui met Xinru first and once again Xinru begged Tae-ui to leave with him and choose him. Tae-ui refused Xinru again.
The mens that were chasing Jae-ui and Tae-ui were Xinru mens. Those mens knock Jae-ui out and drag Jae-ui to a nearby car. Using Jae-ui as hostage, Xinru asked Tae-ui again to go with him. From a distance, Ilay was making his way to Tae-ui on a motorbike with a grenade launcher on his back. Tae-ui noticed Ilay and noticed how happy Ilay looks as Ilay riding toward him, but he chosen Xinru since Xinru had Jae-ui. There was a car chase but ended with Xinru shot at Ilay which stopped Ilay from chasing them.
In the car, Tae-ui noticed that Xinru had an eye patch on one of his eyes. Xinru explained that it was from when Ilay shot him at the beach. Tae-ui, Jae-ui, and Xinru took a flight somewhere and made a short stop at a hotel while waiting for the next flight to Korean. Tae-ui and Jae-ui talked about what their plans were before bid each other farewell, Jae-ui will go back to the UNHRDO and Tae-ui will go back to Ilay. Tae-ui and Xinru had their final talk, Tae-ui made a point about how Xinru only “want” him just to provoke Ilay and that wasn’t love. As Tae-ui decided to leave, Xinru didn’t made an attempt to stop Tae-ui.
Tae-ui was making his way to the airport to flied back to Germany. Ilay caught up to Tae-ui at the airport and…oh boy Ilay was not happy. Tae-ui tried to explain but Ilay wasn’t having it. Ilay took Tae-ui to a hotel and some rough sex happen… Ilay didn’t want to hear any excuses from Tae-ui so he stuffed cloths in Tae-ui’s mouth and went to pound town with Tae-ui. Tae-ui was crying but Ilay just kept going until essentially the end. Ilay finally removed the cloths and Tae-ui explained that he was planning to came back to Ilay. Ladies, that’s how Ilay and Tae-ui got together. Some rough sex, no apology. Who needs apology when the men are good looking and have great body, am I right, ladies? All seriousness, after hearing the explanation from Tae-ui, I don’t remember Ilay apologizing. It was almost like he blamed Tae-ui for why he was so rough with Tae-ui in a way. If you’re here for a hot, steamy sex, this second to final sex will do. If you’re here for an emotional sex, this is not it.
This part is the epilogue, I am just going to speed run it. Basically Tae-ui and Ilay went to the airport and flied back to Germany and lived in Berlin with Kyle. Couple months passed, Tae-ui and Ilay were in hiding because they were now wanted criminals due to what Ilay did while trying to find Tae-ui. One day, Tae-ui found a picture of Maurer, the person who sell Tae-ui out for some guns, in a very explicit position with his favorite gun in him. Tae-ui was horrified by the picture because he didn’t expected Ilay to took that drastic route. That day or couple days later, Maurer came to visit and was very upset by it. Tae-ui confronted Ilay about it which Ilay just laugh it off and they both had a quick sex session. The next morning, as Maurer were leaving, he told Tae-ui to close the door if both Tae-ui and Ilay were going to pound town which made Tae-ui extremely embarrassed. Ilay came up behind Tae-ui and mentioned that he did heard someone closing the door.
That is the end of the first novel. I might miss some minor stuffs here and there but these are the key events that I can remember from the top of my head right now. If there is any questions, I will be happy to answer regarding the first novel. I know I rambled a lot throughout this whole post but hopefully this spoiler will give you some gists of what is coming up and what is to look forward. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

okay so here's my understanding of the story so far (with spoilers from the novel)
Sovieshu's plan is to both acquire an heir and a perfect empress.
When he was a child, he sneaked into the previous empress's (his mother's) room and found cookies which he gave to young Navier. Navier suggested they ate it together. Soon after, the previous empress was more anxious than angry that he took the cookies because it was for a countess that was favored by the emperor at that time (this is where I gag at Sovieshu's hypocrisy. he literally hated his dad for having concubines but look at him now) Sovieshu found out the cookies were mixed with poison that caused miscarriage with a side effect of infertility. His mother asked him if he shared the cookies but he quickly replied no. He lied instinctively, feeling that it's something no one should find out.
So because there is still no child between Sovieshu and Navier, Sovieshu concludes that one of them is infertile.
At that point in time, he was very stressed with the pressure the nobles and aristocrats were putting on him for not having a child to inherit the throne. Not only that, if he didn't bear an heir soon the throne would go to his uncle's son and his bloodline would ultimately lose the reign of the monarchy. That's what scared him because he knew how brutal being a member of the royal family was. After all, he spent some of his childhood watching the previous emperor (his father) with his concubines while his mother was abandoned. So when Trashta comes in, she's like a stress relief away from everyone's prejudice as well as the seeming indifference of his wife Navier.
Mind you, Sovieshu may be an asswipe but he is not one to crave countless women in order to satisfy his ego. He'd consider it, but his pride would never let him. Even though Navier was not the perfect wife, she was the perfect empress and a child between them would've been perfect as well had it not been for that cookie. So if he could not bear a child with her, Trashta had to do (his plan sounded perfect in his own head lmao).
So Trashta is already pregnant but the child is still an offspring of a commoner so he/she cannot become a prince/princess. This is why Sovieshu kept bugging Navier to adopt Trashta's child, so that he/she will have a legitimate right to take the throne.
But because Navier would not give in to adopting the bastard child (thank goodness queen) Sovieshu diverts to a different plan: divorce Navier and make Trashta empress for a year so that the child claims a royal right. Then when that year ends, he takes Navier back and kicks Trashta out. So Sovieshu basically didn't see much value in Trashta except for her ability to get preggers and her "feminine" side that Navier didn't have. fsr he has this fetish with women who depended on him like damsels in distress. And because Navier was independent af he also had some type of inferiority complex.
Soveishu's downfall is not telling Navier of his plan. Before Trashta came along, like waaay before all the issues, Navier and Sovieshu loved and trusted each other. Idk how to describe their past relationship but if you'd ask me, Navier was not good at expressing herself and Sovieshu was the worst in understanding that trait of hers. That didn't become much of a problem until the topic of an heir was brought up. Sovieshu started worrying a lot and he basically started blaming it on Navier; saying crap like the reason they had no child was because she wasn't affectionate to him or that she was infertile all along. Regardless, Navier continued to love him silently and although at first Sovieshu did the same for her, he began to lose sight of his love for her as he focused on figuring out how to produce an heir.
Sovieshu will soon snap back to his senses though, but it'll be too late. Because by then, Navier would've fallen for Heinly already and he won't be able to do anything about it. Sovieshu was the one who pushed Navier away after all.
So not only were they colleagues (on the throne) they were childhood friends who knew each other by the back of their hands. But because of Sovieshu bitch's inferiority complex, he decided he could handle batshit on his own. He basically plotted everything and since he didn't tell Navier, he made it seem like he was in love with Trashta and hurt Navier beyong comprehension.
Another thing is that he didn't calculate how crafty and cunning Trashta could be. So shit was gonna get loose when Navier stepped down from the throne.
Soon, Sovieshu ends up mentioning his plan to Trashta (1-year empress trial). Without his knowledge, Navier was actually listening to their conversation. This makes Navier leave the palace where she bumps into Heinley in a pub. Heinley confesses that he needed a queen to stand by him in his kingdom (Heinley's home is a kingdom, not an empire) and he wanted Navier to be queen. Navier, remembering what Sovieshu told Trashta, then offers marriage and Heinly accepts but he's confused because she's still married.
Navier continues sending letters through the blue bird (Heinley's attendant) and Sovieshu takes notice of this; speculating Navier is communicating with Heinley. So he orders to kill any bird that goes near the empress's chambers. Navier sends a warning but the bird confuses it and ends up getting hurt (blood, feathers, and all). Sovieshu bitch even sends a bird stew to Navier as warning. The bird isn't dead though, because Trashta finds it and gives it to Duke Elgy (Heinley's friend and the man Trashta is borrowing money from) who then becomes the means of communication between Navier and Heinley.
Meanwhile, Trashta (already knowing Sovieshu's plan) feels that she cannot compare to Navier. Duke Elgy suggests she studies so that's what she does. She studies while being accompanied by Sovieshu but she keeps complaining so Sovieshu keeps comparing her to Navier which infuriates. This keeps happening; she studies, acts fake-cute af in front of Sovieshu, borrows money from Duke Elgy, and pays money to Viscount Rostechu. At some point, Trashta also hires assassins to kill the Troby couple (Navier's parents). Then Navier's brother also attempts to poison Trashta to kill her child. He ends up being exiled by Sovieshu for it. Sovieshu then uses Navier's brother's crimes as leverage to solidify the divorce.
On the day of the divorce with the High Priest present, Sovieshu embarrasses Navier and claims she tried to harm his daughter. This is when Heinley enters as Navier asks the High Priest to bless her second marriage.
Sovieshu is salty af and even locks Navier, Heinley, and Navier's fam in their house while he searches for any laws that could null Navier's second marriage. The blue bird (Heinley's attendant) then appears to take them all to the Western Kingdom (Heinly's kingdom). Sovieshu goes crazy and demands to find them.
Some time passed since Navier left and Sovieshu goes paranoid because he felt she really wasn't coming back. So he doesn't drop Trashta from the empress seat because he put a lot of effort into doing it (faking Trashta's noble background and shit) but he does question whether their daughter is his or not. He uses magic to clarify the paternity; he was scared because he made so many enemies by divorcing Navier just to have an heir so there's no way he could save his dignity as emperor if his plan backfired. If the child really wan't his, it'd also shatter his confidence that he isn't sterile because Navier was already pregnant with Heinley's child (Sovieshu and Navier are both infertile because of the cookie but Navier and Heinley did (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ on a magical bed which is why she got pregnant). Sovieshu prayed the child really was his because he couldn't bear to live with the possibility that he lost Navier for nothing.
The truth was that when Trashta left Allen (the Viscount's son) years ago, she was already pregnant with their second child. But because she was sleeping with Sovieshu soon after, she didn't know Allen was the baby daddy. At some point, she also gets a scar on her face so Sovieshu starts to lose interest in her cause like you know the taboo with women in high society having scars.
It's revealed that Duke Elgy had only been getting information from Trashta. He's Heinley's friend and so, by Heinley's request, he got close to Trashta and got her to borrow money from him. Everything Trashta did, he told Heinley.
So Trashta's crimes are brought to light and she's imprisoned. She also ends up killing herself in her cell.
Sovieshu rejects the bastard child and has no heir to the throne.
Heinley and Navier live happily ever after with their little twin babies :)
Sovieshu's plan is to both acquire an heir and a perfect empress.
When he was a child, he sneaked into the previous empress's (his mother's) room and found cookies which he gave to young Navier. Navier suggested they ate it together.
