The point of the chapter isn’t “friendship beats all” it may be a trope but it’s a trope for a reason. He would never hurt them and they aren’t trying to hurt him everything they are doing is to restrain him and if they were doing it without the monologue it would just be a rescue mission. Momo literally said that’s what they’re here to do he looks like he’s about to drop dead they're talking because they know their words will affect him because of who he is the “friendship” argument is just dumb because that’s also who they are they’re kids how else are they supposed to communicate they trust him and want him to come back one for all has never been beaten by one person alone even with all those quirks he’s just one person against all the villains in Japan. It’s sad the moment emotions get added into something people turn away because it’s “ cliché or takes away from the action”
I agree with you... thats how the author wants to express that even if you are the most powerful person you would still need someone to rely on whether they are friends or lover or family, you cant do everything alone, all of them are trying to help him that he doesn't have to burden himself alone, everyone can support him in some way thats how in the big fight you win...
It’s kinda confusing why people are upset this has always been a shoujo manga and the leads are girls. It’s just like in shouen when the leads are boys but it’s understandable as well because people always want girls to be well written in those stories to. But I don’t think that’s the case here Arjen is still a great character and even though they story will focus on Arien it doesn’t mean he’ll disappear he’ll just play a different role. What’s most concerning is the amount of people that call Arien basic or say she’s less cute than her brother when they have the same face but just like different font and longer hair. Do you remember that chapter when they got super long hair they looked exactly the same then. Even their personalities mirror one another though their inherently different. I also saw some people say they would straight up drop if the story focuses on her or she shouldn’t be the main lead because she’s a basic girl and her brothers better like it was so weird I even saw a comment that downright sounded like it was hating girls in comparison to guys

It’s honestly cornering how easily some people are throwing around the words rape and sexual assault we don’t know their kinks or boundaries. If your partner wanted to try something with you or surprise you and you didn’t like it or felt assaulted then your completely justified and Im so sorry if this has happened to anyone else I’ve had some situations but I’ve managed to get out of them but please don’t push assault onto other people or their relationships. If you were fine with it then its not, the point is that if you (or lucia) had not been okay with it you could rightfully get mad and even press charges. Its best to not encourage this behavior and see it as completely fine, you have to know the boundaries of your partner and have that conversation with them, which they never had in this webtoon. There are few webtoons/mangas that actually include the conversation of consenting to their partner doing foreplay while their alseep.
