tanaka's friend, adachi, is so nice and supportive. like hes actually such a saint that im scared hes some plot twist villain or smth. but from what ive seen so far, theres no indication of that and it seems like hes just that nice. idk idk

i know what kinda artstyle the artist is tryna go for, but this shit aint working
if they didnt blend the hair with the skin, separated the lips and nose more, and quit abusing that one outline brush; the art would be really cute but for now, everyone look chopped af
although there are some obvious anatomical errors, the artstyle of this manga scratches my brain in a way no other artstyle has done before. i love how its stylized with the sharp angles and the large eyes. it suits this type of over-the-top, hyper edgy story perfectly and i can never understand the people who prefer the webtoon's artstyle (which imo looks very plain/generic and doesnt stand out from other webtoons) over the manga's artstyle.

i lowkey wish woon sung didnt change his hair style or at least kept the bangs, but it does resemble the old heavenly demon's hair style so i'll give it a pass

i relate to woori's current situation so much but because of that, as much as i want woori to tell her mom off, i have this feeling that woori's outburst isnt gonna get thru to her parents (also considering the convo she had with her mom in the hospital, its obvious her mom is still ignorant on the pain she inflicted on woori)
woori's gonna be so overwhelmed with emotions that she's gonna be unable to properly communicate whats wrong so her parents will just chalk it up to woori being jealous over nari and nothing else sobs
parents like them will never, no matter how much you try to tell them, understand that theyve done something wrong because they dont acknowledge neglect or any emotional abuse as 'real' abuse

rereading this was an absolute rollercoaster. i cant believe ive been sleeping on peak for so many years
i cant fully articulate how beautiful this manga is, from aesthetically to emotionally
the moments when the eves enter the servamps and are shown their backstory (the eves force the servamps to do a little introspection basically) were so well executed and the messages they send bring a tear to my eye -- i think those were the best parts of the manga
the story is dark yet so hopefully -- the premise gives early 2010s nostalgic edgy in the best way possible, reading this was like taking a breath of clear, fresh air after youve been only inhaling polluted city air for years. i absolutely adore every part of this manga
